CROSSROADS
![]() Jesus Himself stands at the crossroads of man’s destiny and demands a deliberate choice of life or death, heaven or hell. The Lord requires that each person choose between following the world on the easy, well-traveled road or following Him on the difficult, less traveled road. The choices are clear-cut. Each individual must choose which way he or she will go. Have you repented of your sins and committed you life to Christ? If you have, rejoice--- He will be faithful to complete the work that He has begun in your life, no matter what your present difficulties may be [Philippians 1:6]. If you’re still standing outside the gate, traveling the broad road, don’t delay any longer. Come to Christ and enter into eternal life. A STRONG STATEMENT Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in His hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe it." A week later His disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" Then He said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." Thomas said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" (John 20:24-28) Thomas makes a strong and clear statement in verse twenty eight, In confirming the Lordship and deity of Jesus Christ. May I say that anyone who would deny the Lordship of Christ, deny His deity, deny His humanity, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death on the cross. His bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven. Who would add works to His finished work. That person is guilty of not only denying the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith, But in essence rejecting Christ and any hope of salvation. Peter denied knowing the Lord three times, But Peter never denied the deity of Jesus, Nor His work. May God open the eyes of the blind, so that they may receive the truth of the gospel and be saved, Amen. ![]()
