I am asking prayers for myself. In January I found out my paternal grandmother had past. I had never met my father, I am 33 years old, and though it may seem harsh, but I felt if I went to the funeral, I would possibly have the opportunity to meet my father, when I got to the funeral, I asked vague questions about him not to draw any suspicion, only to find out my father committed suicide 2 years ago. I was devastated. I had my hopes set real high to see him for the first time and I was crushed. I do not know the real story on why I never got a chance to meet him, of course everyone's reasoning is different, and I really don't care what other have to say. I really wanted to meet him to find out if I have other brothers and sisters, just to see the other side of my family and learn a little more about myself. Please pray for my understanding on why my family waited until my paternal grandmother passed before telling me about her. They told me she was in a nursing home for the last 7 years, a nursing home that is 5 miles away from my job. And also please pray for my courage as I try to continue on with finding my father's only brother. Last I knew, he was in the military in California. I know the Lord has a plan for this mission in my life, I don't understand the plan, but pray for me as God walks me through this period of my life. my husband has been living out of state for a year now. There has been no contact in five months since the last time we spoke (when he said he was on his way home and never showed). Yesterday I found a message from him on my voice mail saying he was just calling to see what was going on with everyone and that he'd try to call back later. Please pray mightily for the Lord to continue working on him and for him to renew contact and to come home to me and the children. Thursday will be our 5 yr. wedding anniversary. Please pray for the Lord to use it to begin restoration. Thank you and God bless.

Please pray for me and my family as the Governor of California who is being endorsed by the President of the United States to "acquire $200 billion in redevelopment to redevelop California" through eminent domain. Pray that the public is made aware that the big time realestate developers who contributed millions to their campaigns are now being rewarded with our homes where we have made memories so that they can mow them down and build houses we cannot afford to buy and new and big stores. If we lose our house, my husband wants to "live in a hotel or with his mother without us because this action has taken the wind out of his sails." So much for our president "wanting every American to own a home and to have family values." Pray that we have family values even living under bridge! Pray that people will still rent to us even though we have to file bankruptcy on a $300,000 note. Pray that somehow the lenders will take pity and see that eminent domain ruined our financial world. Pray that we can escape this corporate greed in America! PRAY!
