STAFF ![]() GEOFFREY 'JOSEPH ABRAHAM' BONE MEET YOUR PASTOR I began my spiritual journey at the local Baptist Church near my home in Wealdstone Middlesex. ENGLAND. From the age of 5 I went to Sunday School and sat the Scripture Union Exams. I also joined the Lifeboys and Boys Brigade where on Sunday mornings we had Bible lessons. So my roots and understanding was gained through the faithful teaching of these people. I made a decision to follow Christ at a Billy Graham Crusade in Wembley Stadium when I was ten. At the age of 15 I left school and started work. I stopped going to church and instead went to the local Public House to drink and play Bar Billiards with my brother instead. After a year, my mother, who had been restored to faith through the Billy Graham Crusade, asked if I would go to a weekend house party with another Baptist Church. I was 16. Rev. Dick Rees was the Evangelist and his simple and compelling messages caused me to repent and turn to the Lord. I immediately became very active in evangelism and used to go out on the streets with gospel tracts supplied by the Evangelical Tract Society. I also joined the FIEC evangelical church in Masons Ave. where I was baptized by immersion. I spent two years enjoying this progress till in 1962 I went on the march from Aldermarston to protest against the Atom Bomb. Really my intention was to evangelize these people but the result was that I was converted to their thinking. In my usual way I went full steam into this movement and became the organizer of the youth campaign in Watford. The constant mingling with radical people on the far left of the political spectrum shook my faith and after a year I left the church altogether. This was to last three years till I went to a meeting where the early charismatic Evangelist Richard Bolt was speaking. Miraculously I came back to the Lord and was Baptized in the Holy Spirit. Now I returned to Watford and joined another Baptist Church at Beecham Grove. There I became the Youth Leader and attempted to lead a group of very indifferent and apathetic young people in evangelism. I realize now that I would have spent my time better working with this group, as they were all children of members in a church that was notoriously non-evangelical! It was then that I met my future wife through a friend of my mother. After marriage we set sail for Australia to train with the New Tribes Mission. Before we left England we were involved in Project Evangelism and also teaching a wonderful bunch of 60+ children in Hemel Hempstead. After two years with NTM we returned to the UK and went on a summer mission to Spain with Operation Mobilization. When we returned home, a movement had begun amongst the youth who were now called ‘hippies’ I led this movement which became known as the ‘Jesus Movement’ for several years. It was an exciting time to be alive and the work was thrilling. I thank God that my organizational skills allowed me to succeed in making the work of or organization known throughout the UK. In 1972, when the ‘Jesus Liberation Front’ was in full swing, I went to Belfast in Northern Ireland to follow - up on the work of evangelist Arthur Blessitt. On my return a week later, due to a strike by the Air Controllers at the Airport, I missed the train in the early morning and ran for it, accidentally falling underneath the last carriage. With my left leg ripped off and the right leg smashed, I was rushed to Hospital where by a miracle I survived. After a week in Intensive Care and two months in the general ward, I was allowed home for a painful and drawn out rehabilitation. I continued to Pastor the Church and was dismayed to find that my wife was having an affair with one of the young converts. What followed was something worse than the accident. Fifteen years later I made the decision to divorce my wife. My vision was undiminished but God was allowing me to feel the full force of Satan’s testing. It seemed that I had lost everything. My family, my ministry was gone. Yet I was determined not to be totally crushed by these events and began a new ministry called IMPACT MINISTRIES. I had seen in my mind how modern technology could play a part in evangelism and spent many years traveling to the USA to see for myself how their Television Ministries worked. There was much that I liked about it but also much that I could criticize. I especially could see the danger of Christian ‘mega-stars’ and ‘mega-churches’ With the development of the Internet, my vision grew, and I could envision using this technology to pioneer a new form of Church Planting, superior to efforts in the past. In 1992 God gave me a vision. I was in a room where the Lord was dispensing gifts to a group of men who were seated in a circle. When He stood in front of me He asked me how much money I wanted for the work. I asked for $25 Billion for world evangelism. A shock like an electric current hit my body and I awoke with a start. From that moment I have never doubted that He will give me that money. My job will be to support financially the work of God throughout the world. On many occasions since then prophets have come across my path and have confirmed the task ahead and that God will be faithful to do what he has promised. That is why my emphasis has been on creating a vehicle with which to make money. This led to the development of the Premier Network Ministries and also Friends Are Us. The Lord has given me an unusual kind of mind. I suppose that you could say that I am a visionary. I see things in a different way to most and so find it difficult to fit into normal run of the mill church with its small vision. There’s nothing wrong with that of course. It’s just not for me. I have always felt that the church would be far more effective if it developed home churches and so this brings me to the present and the formation of Grace Cyber-Church, the Church Without Walls. I believe that this church will spread very rapidly and become a blessing to the nations. That is a brief summary of my life. I hope it helps you to understand me.
