At this time clicks and referrals from Free accounts cannot be tracked. If you have a Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Starter account you may participate, but you are responsible for setting up the links to OurChurch.Com on your site.

Yes. Again, you must be sure their ads meet the standards defined in the Terms and Conditions, and they must be the standard 468x60 size.

Partners can refer themselves but will only receive 20% of the revenue for a premium option if they are already paying for that option on another site. In other words, if a partner builds a site at OCC and upgrades to the Starter package, he or she won't receive the 20% referral fee for the first Starter package, but for every one after that.

Spread the WWWord! Partners will be paid quarterly when earnings meet or exceed $50. If earnings are less than $50, no check will be sent and earnings will be rolled into the next quarter. Earnings will be paid by check in US currency and can only be sent to US addresses.

Points are awarded as follows:

1 point for each click-through from your site to ours
20 points if you have a working banner promoting your website set-up for us to display
50 points for each site created during the month by someone who clicks through from your site to ours
1 point for every $0.10 in commissions earned during the month.

On the first of each month, all points are reset to 0. We are able to track click-throughs and referrals from your site by checking the URL a visitor came through and checking it against partners' "base URL" settings, so be sure you have that set up correctly. To prevent abuse, only one click-through is permitted per person per day. Please be honest in this. We will disqualify and possibly terminate the partnership agreement of anyone found trying to artificially inflate their score. We have improved our fraud detection software in this new program as well. All click-throughs are logged during the day, but scores are only updated once per day in the wee hours of the morning.

Twenty percent of a website's banner advertising space is given to the referring partner. The partner must set up at least one banner using the "Banner Admin" function to receive that advertising space. If no banners are set up when the partner's ad is supposed to be displayed, an OCC ad will be displayed and the partner will forfeit that particular display

Yes. We changed the way click-throughs are tracked and the way partners link to us. First, you need to click the "Update Settings" link (found on our website under Partnership Program, in the Partners Only section) and enter the base URL of your website(s). Second, you need to update the links and linking graphics on your website to remove the username or reference ID from the URL. While in the past partners linked to http://www.ourchurch.com/?ref=your_username, now links should point directly to http://www.ourchurch.com.

I've signed up for the partnership program, but I don't see the smiley face grap...

You have to have at least one point (click-through) for the smiley face graphic to appear. Since points are only updated once per day, even if everything is set up properly and you have clicked through yourself, you won't see the smiley face until the next day. If it has been at least one day since you set up the link and clicked through, click the "Update Settings" link in the menu and check that you have the base URL setting correct.

Just as with the smiley next to the search listings mentioned above, you must also have at least one click-through for your banner to appear on the Top OCC Partners page. You must also use the Banner Admin tool to set up a banner promoting your website...

On the first of the month, the contest will end and a new one will begin immediately. The eligible partners are those with the three highest point totals plus one randomly selected partner (with at least 30 points in the previous month). All four will be notified by email of their prizes within the first few days of the month. Partners must have a banner set up in the "Banner Admin" (found on our website under Partnership Program, in the Partners Only section) on the first of the month to be eligible for the prize. The winners' ads will begin being shown as soon as the winners are announced and will be shown throughout the rest of the month. All of the winners' ads will be shown in normal rotation across all OCC sites proportionate to the number of impressions won.

Yes. You may display another company or organization's ad in the space that you have earned. Payment and terms are between you and the buyer. Keep in mind that the if you sell your space, you are still responsible to be sure all advertisements meet the standards defined in the Terms and Conditions document (no gambling, alcohol, sexually suggestive, or anti-Christian ads).

What about the five little ads under the banner and the two middle-sized ads on ...

Partners do not receive a percentage of those ads so you don't need to worry about providing graphics of that size.

At this time, OurChurch.Com is is devoted to selling all of its own advertising space. If and when we are able to sell more advertising than we have space for, we will contact our partners about adding this option.
