In this section you will learn how to create and add new pages to your website.

There are three buttons/links to add a new page. The first button is the \"Add a New Page\" button in the top menu on the left. (see figure 1). The second is the Add a New Page button located in your admin section\'s main page. (see figure 2). The third is the \"Add a New Page\" link in the left navigation menu of the admin section located just below the list of existing pages. (see figure 3)

(figure 1)

(figure 2)

(figure 3)

Start by clicking one of the \"Add a new page\" buttons/links in your admin section.

The next page you will see is the \"Add a new page\" page. (See figure 4) Here you will be able to enter the name of your page, where you want it within your menu, the template you would like to use for that page, the type of page it is, and if you want to make the page viewable to the public. Start by giving your page a name in the \"Page name\" section. The page name is what will be displayed in your menu and at the top of the actual page.

In the \"Add to Menu\" section you will decide which menu you would like to add your page to from the drop down menu.

*Note: By default there is only one menu but you do have the option of adding more menus from the \"Menu Options\" section in your admin page.

*Tip: Not sure why you would have more than one menu? The menu option allows you to switch your whole menu to a new menu with just a click of your mouse. This comes in handy if you like to switch your menu for the holidays or if you are creating new or better pages that what you already have you can save them to a different menu, test them, and if you need to make more changes or you decide that you like what you had better you can switch back to your old menu. A second menu also provides a way to keep track of which pages are currently being displayed. You can keep the active pages in the main menu and put the inactive pages in a secondary menu. Only one menu can be used at a time.

The \"Page Types\" feature allows you to automatically install certain modules on the page you are creating. So, if you wanted to create a prayer request page, you can simply select the prayer request page in the Page Type and the prayer request module will be installed for you. You can also add the prayer request module later, but this saves you a few steps.

You have a number of options to choose from but by default \"General\" will be selected. The \"General\" page is a blank page with no modules installed on it usually used for anything from a text page to a multi-media page. Depending on your hosting package, some predefined pages that are included are, a Vote Poll (GSBD), News page, Contact Form, Tell a friend link, Blog page (GSBD), Guestbook, Prayer request page, Newsletter (GSBD), Shop (GS), and a Photo Gallery page (GSB).

G - Gold hosting package
S - Silver hosting package
B - Bronze hosting package
D - Starter hosting package

Note: You can add text and pictures to the preset pages just like you can a \"General\" page.

The \"Template:\" feature allows you to decide what website template you would to use for the page. Each page can have its own look and feel independent of the main website. The default template is the template that you have set in the web builder config menu; possibly the template you selected during the initial building process.

*Note:The \"Template\" section is similar to the \"Add to Menu\" section in that it allows you to customize each page differently. You can use both the \"Add to Menu\" and the \"Template\" sections in correlation with each other. For example: I like to change my site\'s look and feel for the holidays especially Christmas. So, I created new pages with a Christmas template and save them to a new menu that I titled \"Christmas\". Then every year on December 1st I change my menu to the Christmas menu and activate those pages. So every year it\'s easy to put some Christmas Spirit into my website.

**Note: Current design standards discourage the use of different templates for different pages on your site. The lack of consistency for the look and feel of your site can be quite distracting to your site visitors.
