Godís Word to the Nation

Godís Word to the Nation is the founder and creator of the ďGodís WordĒ translation of the Bible, which was introduced in 1995. Their website has the entire history of their translation if you would like more information about that.

Godís Word to the Nation just recently ďupgradedĒ their website to the newest version of OurChurch.Comís Custom Website packages. There may not be much of a difference as far as the outside appearance of their site is concerned, but the new administrative interface that their webmaster uses on a day to day basis has definitely made things a lot easier to manage. They also hired OurChurch.Com to update their logo throughout their website.

Go visit their website and make sure you check out some of the personalized bibles they have. They make great gifts! ;)

Merry Christmas!

Hello OurChurch.Com Webmaster,

Despite its commercialization and all the distractions, Christmas is still the time of year people are most open to God's gift to us - Jesus, and the peace and hope we find in him. We hope you, your church, or your ministry are finding ways to communicate God's grace and the Christmas story to the people in your community.

Your website can play a large role in communicating God's grace at Christmas time. It can include Christmas devotionals, information about opportunities to serve those in need, information about Christmas Eve services, and even online ticket sales/reservations for Christmas concerts. If there's anything we at OurChurch.Com can do to help, please let us know.

This month's newsletter has a bit of Christmas spirit to it as well... the Silver Bells special, two new Christmas templates, and video of a very cool Christmas performance done with iPads & iPhones.

From all of us at OurChurch.Com: we wish you a Christ-filled Christmas.

In His Service,
Paul Steinbrueck, CEO

The Pros and Cons of Online Fundraising

Online giving and social media have revolutionized fundraising for charities. With online payment processors like PayPal, anyone with a credit card anywhere in the world is a potential contributor. With social media tools like Facebook and Twitter, itís possible for a charity to gain tens of thousands of online followers. And those tens of thousands of followers have the capacity to spread the word about a campaign to millions of their followers.

But the explosion of online giving campaigns has also led to donor fatigue. We look at what this means for your church, ministry, or non-profit.  More...
