3) COULD YOUR SITE BE A FEATURED SAMPLE?
Every month we feature four real OurChurch.Com-hosted websites on our Sample Sites page. Sample sites often receive hundreds of extra visitors as a result. What does it take to be featured as a sample site? First, the site must be nominated. All you have to do to nominate your site or another site is enter the OCC ID# on the nomination page.

Second, the site must look good. We look for a clean, uncluttered appearance, nice graphics, and an organized menu. Third, the site must demonstrate as much of the functionality of the hosting package as possible. We are especially interested in featuring sites that have a calendar (with events scheduled in the current month), photo album, announcements, prayer request page, and a newsletter sign-up page. This Friday, The Da Vinci Code movie will open in theaters in the United States. Millions of people will see this fictional movie in which Jesus never claimed to be God, never rose from the dead, was married, and had a child. Many Christians have been outraged by the book and now the movie because of the "alternate reality" it portrays. However, many Christians and many Christian churches are also using this as an opportunity to discuss the most important question anyone can ever ask, "Who is Jesus?"
