LIVING WATERS OR BROKEN CISTERNS:
JEREMIAH 2:13
" For My people have commited two evils; they have forsaken Me, the Fountain of living waters, and hewn
themselves cisterns that can hold no water."
CISTERNS-(means) An artificial tank or reservoir dug in the earth or rock for the collection and storage of rainwater, or sometimes of spring water brought from a distance by a conduit.
John 4:1-4-Jesus and the Samaritan Woman:
The Samaritan woman had also hewned out a broken cistern for herself, a life of sin, brokeness, and prostitution. This woman probably came to this well every day. Jesus was on a mission that day to seek this woman out. The Father had sent Jesus out that day to find this woman. He came to seek and to save that which are lost. Jesus is the Well Of Salvation. This Samaritan woman met the man that could give her that Living Water, that well that nevers runs dry.
She received Him and was made free that day.
How often do you drink from the Living Water?
REFERRING BACK TO JEREMIAH 2:13
WATER-(means) majim-speaks of life, sustenance, fertility, blessing and refreshing.
Psalms 42:1-2:As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the Living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
RESULTS FOR PANTING FOR GOD:
Psalms 1:3- He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season.
Psalms 23:2- He restores my soul; He leads me in the path of righteousness for His's name sake.
Jeremiah 17:7-8: " But blessed are those who trusts in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope, and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit.

PROPHECY: COME
My children, I have loved you with an everlasting love. I long to be with you. Spend time with me, in order that you will come to know Me. If you will spend time with Me you will see me move in your life. I came to give you life and more abundantly. Seek me while I may be found. I am waiting for you to sit at my feet and learn of Me. YOU ARE GOD'S VINEYARD OR GARDEN:
(The Lord has been speaking to me about us being likened to a garden or a vineyard. Their will be a series of teachings on this subject for the next few weeks. I will try to keep it short in order that you will not get bored reading long pages.)
Is 58:11- ...You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
We are like a watered garden.
Song Of Solomon 5:1- I have come into my garden, my sister, my Bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my balsam and spice from your sweet words I have gathered the richest perfumes and spices.
Is.5:1- Now let me sing to my Well -beloved a song of my Beloved regarding his vineyard: My Well-beloved has a vineyard on a very fruitful hill.
The Lord is our Gardener
Jeremiah 4:3- Break (or Plow in KJ) up your fallow ground, and do not sow among thorns. Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of your hearts. Also Hosea 10:12.- Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap in mercy, Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.
Fallow ground-untilled ground
Are there areas in your life that you have not allow God to till up ?
Sow-To scatter seed, to plant in order to increase the returns.
Once the ground is tilled up then you can began to sow.
Next week Matthew 13 we will learn how to prepare the ground in order that we will have a good crop.
Lord I ask that you began to open hearts to receive your word on fertile ground and to apply your word and give wisdom to walk accordingly in Jesus name.

Con't : YOU ARE GOD'S GARDEN OR VINEYARD:
Matthew 13:3-9
Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying;
Behold, a sower went out to sow, And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them.
Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. "But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.
And some fell among thorns, and thorns sprang up and choked
them." but others fell on good ground and yielded a crop some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears let him hear.
This earth the ground represents our heart. What condition is your heart to receive God's word? The seed is God's Word
Do you hear it and then something comes along and takes it from you? Is your heart stony towards others and God and you cannot receive from God and others who have the word to give you. Or is your heart so filled with other things unforgiveness and hurts and resentment which are the thorns and you the word is getting choked out when you hear it?
Maybe your heart has been well tilled and plowed over so much and your ground has become fertile to grow the seed
and you are able to believe you can have a crop and it will be in abundance.
Allow the Lord to take away the stony heart and give you a heart of flesh, and a heart that will love others and God.
Give over all those resentments and hurts and unforgiveness
and ask the Lord to help you to fully forgive.
Prayer:
Lord help us to give our heart over to you fully every day
because the enemy would have us to have a stony heart and unforgiveness and Lord forgive us when we have not allowed you to come into that place to set us free .Lord we want our hearts to be fertile in order that we can walk according to your word and walk in holiness with you and relationships. Lord i give you permission to plow my heart till it up Lord in order that I can be more like you to be able to respond to you when I hear your word to me Yes Lord.
TO HIM THAT HAS A EAR HEAR!

JOHN 15:1-8
"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
"Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He prunes, that
it may bear more fruit. "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. "Abide in Me, and I
in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you
can do nothing. " "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. "If you
abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
Last week we learned that if we do not allow God to plow our heart then our ground (our Heart) will not be a place that can cause God's Word to grow us up and bear much fruit.
This week the Lord shows us in his Word that He is the Vine and we are the branches. If we are not bearing fruit He prunes us. Ouch! If we do not abide-means to remain in Jesus we withered up and then have to be burned.
Are you bearing fruit or are you withering away ? Are you abiding in Him? Will you allow the Lord to prune that which needs to be cut off, like unforgiveness , unfaithfulness, leaving your first love?
Lord please prune that which does not bear fruit in me.
I know Lord that I cannot do anything without you. Lord I give you permission to plow the ground in order that the seed can grow and that you prune me in order that I bear much fruit in Jesus name. Lord I desire to abide in you always.

Jesus cleanses us thru His blood and his word
We want to be that well watered garden that comes to the living fountain that never runs dry and feast at His table to learn of him and draw from Him. Let His words wash you
let His word grow in you to cause you to grow much fruit
for His use. Let the Word of God pluck off the bad branches that are stunning your growth. Jesus is that fountain of life drink from Him daily.
