Prayer request from Lori for her dear Uncle Mike and his wife Mary-

Please say a prayer for my Uncle Mike. He has received all the chemo treatments that he could, and yet the cancer runs rampant throughout his body. It has attacked his internal organs and is now in his spine and brain. It is just a matter of time. My Aunt has decided to keep him in the hospital with hospice caring for him there. At least he is being kept medicated and comfortable. His pain is unbearable.

Please also send prayers of strength, love ect. for my Aunt Mary. This is all so difficult for her to bear. Watching the love of her life...since she was 15 years old, laying in a hospital bed in so much pain. Do to her own health issues, she is unable to care for him at home. I know deep down that this decision is tearing her apart inside.

Please join me in prayer,

Father we pray for Mike and for his entire family. We ask for your compassion to envelope them in this time of great sorrow and suffering. We pray for Mike's recovery knowing full well that this is know within your hands for human hands cannot turn back the cancer that has invaded so many parts of his body. Father, we accept the fact that all of us must die, for as you have told us we are from dust and to dust we must return. So if it be Mike's time to return to you, then we pray may it be a return without pain or suffering, without long drawn out days and nights, without the tears of deep sorrow. Let us instead hold on to the memories that he has given to his family and friends that bring joy to their hearts, a smile to their face, and a knowledge that when he is call home, he will walk within your light and love as we all pray someday to do. Still in faith and love we pray dear Father if it be your will to extend Mike's life and to remove the cancer from within him giving him total wellness and a life filled with all that we hope and pray for, then we of course would give thanks for a miracle that can only be given by you. In the end though we know that you of course do all things that are best for us and that we at times ask for things that cannot be. May Mary, and all those who love Mike know of your love and that sometimes what we ask we ask in selfishness, because we will grieve the loss of one so loved. When we should be giving thanks for the knowledge that they will be living life eternal in that that we call heaven with you dear Father, the creator and maker of us all. Amen.

Please pray for me and Teresa, the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. With all of lifes distractions i wasn't there for her when she needed me. After 4 years she said we needed and break and she ended up with someone else. She said she still loves me and never should have gotten involved with someone and may come back one day. She's not the same person she was and our friends think she's with someone she shouldn't be. I'm 46 and she's 51 and as adults we shared a love I never knew was possible until I met her.

All the times I was down and told myself it's over and to give up, I had an uplifting feeling inside for an instant that told me "not yet". I know it was the Lord speaking to me and so I keep waiting, hoping and praying. The countless dreams I have had at night for a year make me believe it's not over.

I know in my heart that God brought us together and I pray every day for her return but I'm losing hope after a year. She's the only one I want to spend my life with and have no interest in pretending with someone else. She's always been the love of my life. Please pray that she realizes how much our love meant to me, I want a life with her and that God will have mercy on me and allow me to make her my wife so we will be together for eternity in his kingdom. I've always been strong at heart and had a strong faith. Now my heart is empty and prayer is all I have left to help me go on.

Please pray for us, that if it's the Lords will she'll find her way back to me so I can love and protect her the way it was meant to be and we can show our children how love is supposed to be and let them learn from our struggle how God's love and grace can restore the emptiest heart. The last sight I want to see when I leave this world for His kingdom is her eyes and smile.

Thank you.

Dear Family and Friends,

We have just received this prayer request and ask you each to join us in prayer for Lori's Uncle Mike, for Lori and for all who have and are going through the pain of seeing someone so loved go through the suffering cancer so often brings. Let us pray for our Lord to heal those who suffer from this life taking disease and give to the doctors the knowledge that can only come from our Lord to make all caners a thing of the past. The following is a copy of the prayer request received-

Please pray for my Uncle Mike. He has been diagnosed with liver cancer. He was finally in remission from another type of cancer, having gone thru chemo treatments. Now this. My Uncle is a wonderful, loving & funny man. A devout Christian. He doesn't want to go through anymore chemo, they suggested a pill form so he wouldn't be so sick this time. But the Dr. said that the cancer is to fast-spreading. He decided to go thru with the chemo and had another port placed yesterday. I fear that my Uncle's time is closing in. He is weak in energy. Please help me lift prayers up to God, because I can't seem to find the right prayer myself. I don't want my Uncle to suffer anymore.
Thank you, Lori

Let us pray,

We lay our prayers at your feet and ask that you turn your loving eyes upon this man know to us as Lori’s Uncle Mike. Father you know full well of the suffering and pain this loving and devoted Christian has been through. We thank you dear Lord for the time you have given him through the remission of the cancer that had invaded his body, and know full well that all must one day make our journey home to you. If it be that time for our dear brother, we simply ask that he not suffer in pain nor linger on not knowing loved ones or simply in a shell. We pray send your Angel’s to quickly lead him home, in his sleep in peaceful rest, while dreaming of days of happiness surrounded with those he loved. Though if you can give to us who pray a miracle, we would give thanks to you beyond mere words can say. For no one wishes to see their loved ones pass from our lives, perhaps it is but human greed, for we know that the loss we feel is ours, no more to see their smile or hear the laugh. If we would only think of them, then we would not ask for that which is not to be. For each of us when called home to you are granted so much more. With you there is but happiness, no tears or suffering pain to endure, the love you give is love unbound and a love that will ever fail. No worries and no problems, what a wonderful life we will live. So if it be Mike’s time to come home, then Lord place this word on our hearts, for we only want the best for him and for Lori and all who hold him close to their hearts. Amen.

Dearest Family and Friends,

We give thanks to our Lord God for hearing our prayers, and seeing our brother Clarence safely through the hernia operation he had this past Thursday. Although due to an emergency at the hospital Clarence was sent home from his appointed time for three trying hours, once admitted all went well. Now I am asking that we focus our prayers on Clarence's other health issues and that of Mother Evette. While Clarence was undergoing tests to make sure all would go well with the hernia surgery, another problem was found, and it always brings our knees to a buckle when we hear the word "Cancer". Yes, they have found through testing that Clarence has Prostate Cancer, and even though some say that this type of cancer is slow growing, we know that any cancer is to be dealt with most seriously and not be ignored or for us to be complacent about. The uncertainty of the size and location, along with the possible spread of cancer are ofcourse weighing heavily on the minds of Clarence, Mother Evette and all of us who have come to know them and call them friends and brother and sister in Christ. Mother Evette is also in need of physical healing for herself and the power of prayer. She fell some time ago and injured and bruised her foot, leg and knee, and in trying to do her day to day duties as a Parish Priest and loving wife she simply put her needs on the back burner and carried on. A spot surfaced on her leg that appeared to be a possible blood clot, painful to the touch and inflamed the tissue. It is a mass of old blood that has pooled and formed as a gell within the tissue, and we give thanks that is is not something more, for the doctor said that it will be absorbed within the body and simply dissipate with time, good news and we will gladly take good news and answered prayers always. This will give you an idea as to how and where to focus your prayers for this wonderful couple. Please join me in prayer, now and each day for the needs of Clarence and Mother Evette, along with those others so in need of our prayers and our Fathers healing power.

Lord we lift to you this day our dear brother Clarence and sister Mother Evette, we pray for your healing power to be poured upon them, we ask that the Cancer within Clarence's body be washed away as a flood washes clean the river in early spring. Taking away before it the dying and decay of winter months and restoring it to the clean, clear waters of spring, and restoring it to the calmness of a lazy summers day. We pray, wash our brother Clarence's body in this same way, restoring it to total cleanliness and purity, and once more to the calmness and peace that we see and know to be Clarence. Hold him and Mother Evette close to your heart dear Lord, and give to them your comfort and your peace, let them know that you are ever present and that they are never alone. For along with you dear Father, they have their friends to call upon and lean upon in their time of need. Heal Mother Evette, so that she might continue to care for dear Clarence and her loving Parish Family, remove her pain and suffering and allow her to find needed rest and love in your arms and in your word. See them through this time of trial and tribulation, and may it be made a time of understanding and compassion for all. So that each of us can witness to your power and your love, and sing out your glory to the whole world. Amen. Amen.

Dear Prayer Community Family & Friends,

I ask for your prayers to encircle and lift to our Lord the needs of Braydon Goodale, our 15 month old great nephew. He is experiencing pain and is off balance,(falling down when trying to walk and crying out in pain). He has had blood work, and all appears normal. Tomorrow, Braydon will have a CT Scan, and we pray that this will show what the problem is and what is needed to restore this babe to total health and wellness. I ask that this evening, while you are reading this or simply surfing the net, or watching TV, that each of you simply think of this child and say these words- Father have mercy upon this child, and give to him your rest and your peace, heal his body and drive away his tears of pain, Amen. It will take less then 10 seconds to say this prayer, but the need is clear and the willingness of each of you to say these few words, and to pray so in total commitment and love and faith in our Lord, will hold the weight of a thousand books of flowery verse. For it is what is in our hearts and souls that truly moves our Lord, and brings to us His never falling grace.

Please hold Braydon's Mom,(Courtnie) and Dad (Colby) and his twin brother Levi, and older brother Tyler, for as in all families of faith and love the pain and suffering is shared in times like this, as well as the laughter and joy that is felt when one acheives great joy. May this family be given great joy- through the power of our Lord. Amen.

I would like to ask the prayer warriors to pray for my friend KC Ford. She was seriously injured last Sunday in a plane crash off the coast of Maine. All aboard survived, but she was injured the most seriously. Especially pray for complete healing of her repaired aorta as well as the healing of several vertebrae in her back. Also broken ribs and that the repair done on her spinal cord area would prevent the leakage of spinal fluid. She is in tough shape but the prognosis is that she will survive. Thanks a lot, Deacon Lora Smith

Let us pray,

Dear Lord, first we give thanks to you that all onboard this plan survived, and although their injuries may be serious we know that though your healing power and the wisdom you have so graciously given to those who serve as doctors, nurses, and other health care providers, KC and all that were with her shall be restored to health. We pray dear Father, that that level of restored health be to that which was theirs before the crash, and that the quality of life they are able to experience from this point on is that which they desire and obtain through you love and grace. May our prayers for KC and all be joined with others to lift them into your loving arms where in your embrace they can be healed and held safe until they are completely well in body, mind, and spirit. We ask for your healing power to be directed to KC's many injuries especially those that are most serious, her aorta, her spinal cord and the colum in which it is housed, please Lord stop and prevent the leakage of spinal fluids, and heal all ribs and vertebra, knitting all that has been broken and making them stronger then before. Give KC comfort and peace, rest her mind and body as it begins the recovery that we pray for, and remove all pain and suffering that she may now feel. Finally dear Lord give comfort and peace to all family members and freinds of KC and all that suffer from this plane crash, but above all we give thanks to you dear Lord for their lives and for you being in ours. Amen.

Dear Friends and Family,

I received a phone call from a loving mother asking for our prayers for her son Chris. Chris' mother told me that her son was very much in need of prayer and was on the edge of a nervous breakdown. Chris has lost his job, and about to loose his car and other possesions. How many of us have heard of others in the same place in their lives, especially in this economic recession that we are told is getting better, but for those like Chris and so many others it has not happened in time. Let us not have hardened hearts as we see so many people suffering the same fate as Chris, let us not tune their needs out, or look beyond them as if they are not there. Instead I ask that you join me in prayer for Chris and so many other souls so close to the edge and trying to hang on with nothing within their reach to pull them back to a safe place a place of sure footing a place of safety and hope. Let us join in prayer for these dear souls, for Chris and all those who are facing such struggles, let us lift them up in prayer and ask that our Lord throw them the line of hope and salvation. That they might be rescued from the edge, by his loving hands and be given solid ground on which to stand. May their nerves be restored, may those who know the Lord find a new and stronger faith in Him, may they see He is with them in their times of trouble as well as in the times of joy, may they know He never leaves their side even in the darkest of times, and even if we may not see or feel His presence, He is there and He will never forsake us or leave us. This world can not tear us down or destroy our lives as long as we have faith in the Lord, and to those who have not come to the Lord as of yet, we pray that now is the time they do, for He will not turn them away, if only they invite Him into their lives, even when it seems the darkest of night, He will show Chris and all who ask the way. Lord give comfort we pray, to Chris and to his mother and to all your children who are in need today and always. Amen.

May you be with Carol, giving her comfort and reassurance will she waits for her beloved to be returned safely to her arms. May our prayers be joined with all those who care for and lift up the name of Bishop Dan in this time of need. May our Lord send his Heavenly Angel's to guide his footsteps and keep him from stumbling as he deals with the recovery of his sight, and may his vision be 20/20 in all that he views. Lord we pray for your compassionate heart to give comfort to Kim, as she struggles to carry on after the loss of her most beloved husband. We pray she finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace and suffering no longer. We give you thanks dear Father for the time you allowed his family and friends to know and love him and for the reassurance that he now dwells among Heavenly Angels and walks by your side high above. May we all one day be so honored, but until then let us know that you hear, the prayers that we offer up before you for the needs that we all hold so dear.
We pray for Diviya as well dear Lord for her health and well being as she tries in some way to fill the void within her mothers life, but as a can simply never do. So Lord we pray give her guidance, to take care of her health, and not be torn by the questions of what it is that she should do. Let her know that it's in your hands dear Lord, and you alone will see the family through. Amen.

Dear Prayer Community,

I ask that you each continue to hold in prayer Ridge Thorbahn, I know that many of you have been praying for this young man who just celebrated his 21st. Birthday on December 18. For those of you who may not be aware of Ridge's need for our prayers, here is just a little this young man has been going through.
Ridge was diagnosed with a fast-growing cancer two years ago, and has been in the fight of his life and for his life ever since. From the start the doctors have been fighting Ridge's cancer most aggressively, trying desparetly to save this young man and restore his health. He under went total knee replacement last year, to remove the cancerous growth that was found imbedded there, but the cancer had already spread to other parts of his body. Tumors have now been found in his lungs, and once more he is to go through yet another round of Chemotherapy, in Syracuse.
Through out all this Ridge has somehow been able to keep a positive outlook, I am sure that it is greatly due to his faith in our Lord. I ask that you please join me in prayer for Ridge's recovery from this cancer, and restoration of his health, and the ability to live the life that he so richly deserves. We know as does Ridge that it will take a miricale from God to heal his body and ride him of the cancer that has invaded it, but that is what we pray for in time such as this, "A MIRICLE- GOD'S MIRICLE, GOD'S HEALING POWER AND GOD'S LOVING GRACE", let us join once more in deep devoted prayer, asking for that which we have seen before and pray we will see again, GOD at work in the lives of those in need, those of faith, those such as Ridge.

Let us pray,

Lord we pray for our brother Ridge, and for his devoted family, we pray that you touch Ridge with your most Holy Hands and through your touch, your healing power course throughout his body removing the cancer that grows there, that through your power and your love for this young man new cells be made to replace those that are decayed or destroyed and that all that is not of your design, not of your doing, and your will, be removed. We pray that Ridge be made a dwelling place of your Holy Spirit and that the light that shines forth from within shines for all the world to see, as Ridge is restored to total and complete health. May you use Ridge, as an instrument of your Holy Power, showing your marvelous hand at work in those who have faith. Lord, we thank you and exalt your Holy Name high above all others, let this healing that we ask be but one more of the marvelous works that we give thanks to you for Dear Father. Amen. Amen.

Still having reacurring pneumoina and has just been admitted in the hospital for that and vomiting. We would like people to still keep her and the family in prayer
God bless

Lord, we continue to lift up in prayer and in our hearts dear Leia. We ask that you look with compassion upon her and her family, as they continue to fight this sickness that has had such a grip on Leia and the lives of all who surround her. We dear Father, ask for you continue to heal her body, as she goes through yet one more bout with pneumonia and the many problems that it involves. We do give you thanks dear Lord, for all that you have done, in seeing her this far and through so much. We do not wish to seem ungrateful in any way. Still we want more, much as your chosen people cried out from long ago "How long dear Lord, how long", have mercy dear Lord upon dear Leia, and look upon her with your love and most caring heart, and heal her body and keep strong her faith. Forgive us for our impatience dear Father, for we know that you hear our prayers. We simply ask that the suffering of those we love is put to an end, and that through this the world will sing out your glory. Give to Leia and her family your comfort and peace, give to all of us your love. Amen.

An Update on Steve,THANKS BE TO GOD!
We had another miracle! Steve had gotten worse and it appeared that even with the dangers involved in operating with his heart so weak there was no other alternative except surgery because of the size of the pieces and how firmly they were stuck. He had two pieces of meat lodged blocking his airway, one was actually already partially in the lung, the other was stuck cutting off his airway. When he tried to breath the wheezing was so bad that it sounded like he was whistling and he said the pain was incredible. While the doctor was planning the surgery to remove the obstructions, we were praying and asking others to pray with us. Steve started to cough and gag again as he had done all night and it sounded like he was going to die, he actually turned blue in his face and was in terrible pain. He said all of a sudden it felt like something was inside him pushing upward in his lungs and he could not stop it no matter how hard he tried. Finally after a few minutes not one but BOTH pieces of meat came out and although he was in great pain from the coughing and gaging, he was again able to breath freely. The doctor called it a miracle. We know that it was the hand of God saving Steve once again. Thank you and God bless you for your kindness and prayers. The power of prayer is incredible. God truly is a great God! Praise His holy name. He never abandons those who love Him. I have been fighting a terrible cold myself but God helped me stay up all night and all day with Steve to help him through his ordeal. I could not have done it without God and your prayers. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend in Christ. Without your prayers I am not sure what would have happened. God bless you and yours and May 2011 see all your dreams and wishes come true. Have a Safe and Happy New Year!

As we aproach the celebration of your birth and the true miracle you gave to us long ago. With Angel's proclaming the miracle of your birth to shepherds at watch over their sheep. We pray that you give us one more miracle this Christmas, we pray give to David the gift of your healing touch. May your power pour out and bathe his body in your most glorious power, may the cancer that has afflicted him be washed away and his body made clean and pure. May you give comfort and peace to David and his family, and may this season when we celebrate your birth and our salvation be given this one more miracle to sing your praises and to worship you as the most Holy of Holies the King of Kings, the loving Father of us all. Let Us Pray,

Father we pray for our brother Jean, as he looks for answers and seeks advice from others. Father make Jean's faith in you strong, and let him be not without hope. Far to often when we hear the word Cancer, we assume the worst, we give in and say it's over. Father, I pray that Jean and all who read know that it is never over even in our darkest hour, to say so is to deny your power and your goodness, and doubt your love. Let us each remember the words "With God All Things Are Possible", and let us drive doubt far from our minds, for these are not just words strung together to give comfort. They are words that hold the true meaning of your power and love. If we doubt then all is lost, but if we have Faith, Faith in you Dear Father and in Your Power, then nothing is impossible. Even when Doctor's say there is no hope, no help, no cure, it is then that our Faith in You is Glorified and your love and caring shine through for all the world to see. So I pray give Jean faith, and may his faith and that of us who are holding him up in our prayers never flicker or fail, but simply grow stronger, as your healing power is revealed to us, in the words that I have come to hear, from the mouths of so many humble Christian doctor's- It was not by my hand that you have been saved, but only the hand of God our Father, could and has made you well. Amen.

Father we pray to you this day, and ask for the intersession of your most Holy Mother Mary for this Mother who also has a deep connection with you. For she gave birth to one who has dedicated her life to you and to your people. Lord we pray for Margaret in her time of great need and sickness, we ask that you relieve her pain and suffering, we ask that the disease attacking her kidney's be driven out and that the cells that are damaged and are like stone be given new life. We know that you have the ability and wisdom to do all things, we have seen first hand how powerful you are and what love you have for your people. Heal Lord dear Margaret as you have healed so many, relieve her suffering and pain as we have read of your healing power within the Bible. Have compassion dear Lord on this your child and to her Loving daughter.

Now dear Lord we ask that you send your angel's to be with Margaret, standing watch over her and protecting her for further harm, and may you be with Margaret and Mother Miriam as they go through this together, and hold them close to you in your love so divine.

Lord, we sometimes forget about the needs of those who serve you, those who have take vows and given their lives to you. Somehow we feel that they no longer have the needs of others, that they are somehow set apart from those who walk the land on other paths, not so closely link to you. But we are all your children Lord, we hurt, we fall, we suffer, and turn our eyes to you. We are all your children Lord, and we cry out to you in prayer. Help dear Lord our sister Margaret heal her and wrap her in your love. Give peace and comfort to her and to her daughter, let them rejoice in the knowing of your power. May we know that you hear and will answer our prayers according to thy will. Let us take comfort in your almighty wisdom and know that you will do what is best for us, as a Father always will. Amen. Please pray for God almighty to heal him in all areas of his life, body, mind and spirit. Pleasee pray that God will heal him from the anger, confusion, and resentment that he feels, and that God will reveal his divine purpose to him.
