Program
Transitions is a Christian discipleship-rehabilitation ministry designed to reach women who have followed the wrong road in life and are now living in the pain of that decision.
Transitions is dedicated to helping women whose lives have fallen apart due to substance abuse along with other life shattering issues. Transitions is for women who desire a life change and who recognize that they need help in order to effect that change. They must be willing to live in a group home with a structured environment for a period of nine to twelve months.
Transitions provides a structured program in a transitional residence for women that will lead to healing and restoration. The program involves a daily scheduled of activities supervised by a resident manager. These include:
· Instruction in Biblical principles
· Spiritual and emotional guidance
· Time with mentor
· Employment skills instruction
· Instruction in practical life skills such as;
Budget management
Nutritional meal preparation
Parenting
Basic education
Housekeeping management
· Volunteer opportunities
· Christian based Twelve Step Program
· Physical Exercise
· Relapse prevention plan
Transitions residents participate in a structured program of rehabilitation and restoration. Upon entering they are in Orientation. They move through Phase 1, 2, 3, 4, and then into Aftercare. Residents must satisfy requirements of each phase before moving to the next. Healing and recovery progress are measured as well as completion of lessons.
