Team Insignia: Red Olive Tree on black background. This symbol was taken from the Israeli Defense Force's Golani Brigade. The Golani Brigade (also known as Brigade No. 1) is an Israeli infantry brigade that was formed February 28, 1948. It is one of the most highly decorated infantry units in the IDF. The symbol of the brigade is an olive tree. The olive tree is known for its strong roots that penetrate and firmly hold the land, thus this symbol was chosen for our team.
Golani is the most veteran IDF brigade and earned a reputation for its die-hard soldiers: who tend to be fearless, impulsive and warm. These qualities are expressed in braveness, toughness and quick response - producing excellent warriors who can handle the hardest situation. Golani is known for its high "warrior comraderie" among the troops.
On the Field: Being a Special Missions Unit, we take on all missions, large and small. If you need a building cleared, a sniper found and eliminated, or you just need some good intel on the enemy, AFC is up to the job.
The Squad: The squad is made up of players with all levels of experience. Some are battle hardened veterans of many scenarios while others are just getting into the sport. We believe in force multiplication. We find that using proven tactics that puts two or three guns working in unison is certainly a force to be reckoned with.
Our Gear: We believe that using superior gear (guns, comm, etc) combined with team training and the guts to jump into the action makes Team AFC a potential game changing force in any scenario they find themselves in.
Why We Play: We play because it’s a blast. It doesn’t matter if it’s a big game with a thousand people or just a few of us playing in our woods at home, we love every minute of it. Its been said that there is no hunt like the hunt for man. We tend to agree. See you on the battlefield!
