LOVE OUR COMMUNITY
In loving we must recognize the issue that concern our community most: Drug Abuse, Homelessness, Under Education/Illiteracy and a Lack of Fruitful activities for Youth just to name a few. We are community members who strive to show the Love of Christ by creatively implementing outreach programs not only focused on external needs being met, but also on internal, Christ-centered spiritual enichment.
ENCOURAGING CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY UNITY
This is a Non-Denominational Organization whose premise for being founded is given in the Holy Bible; The Book of Acts ch. 2:41-47. The unity in our Christian Community is essential in addressing community concerns. Christians not only bring to the table gifts and talents, but offer wisdom, decernment, a pure compassion and Hope based in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
EMPOWERMENT OF OUR COMMUNITY
Why continue to give a man a fish? It's our commitment and, dare say, obligation to empower people to grow. Growth or the lack of growth in community serves as a measuring rod for success in your community. It's so easy to ignore what's happening on the "OTHER SIDE" of town, the problem is that it's still your town. It benefits everyone to support the work of organizations like TCCDA which offers Community Resouce Centers, job and internship placement programs, a network of "help" services, clubs and groups to foster youth development as well as sponsoring community wide events that promote awareness, prevention and knowledge of choices that can lead to successful living.
