Born on 7th July 1968, Pastor Josphat Wachira was
baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ on 8th July 1984,
when he was 17years old. He received the gift of the
Holy Spirit on December 1985. Two years later, Pastor
Josphat was picked by the church board to be leading
in praise and worship and also in translations on
church services.
In the year 1987, he was appointed the church choir
leader. He held those three positions until 1995 when
he moved from Nyahururu Town to Limuru near Nairobi
where he was appointed as the assistant Pastor to the
church at Limuru, a position he held for a period of
one year.
In the mean time, in October 1996 Pastor Josphat
joined Kenyan Music Industry by producing his first
Album.
After leaving Limuru, Pastor Josphat joined other
Oneness Evangelists and preached in the streets of
major Kenyan towns for a period of fours years. In the
year 2000, this team of evangelists managed to start a
church in the heart of Nairobi. Pastor Josphat
Ministered in this church in the position of Head
Technician and led in all open-air meetings. In the
year 2002, the financial situation got out of hand and
Pastor Josphat had to go back home to Nyahururu, just
in time for the launching of FAITH OF ONENESS GOSPEL
CHURCH.
He joined FAITH OF ONENESS GOSPEL CHURCH and was
appointed the Head technician and the leader of the
Music Ministry. He held this position until 7th
November 2004 when he was appointed the Pastor
in-charge of SUBUKU F.O.G. CHURCH. He was ordained to
be a Pastor on 12th December 2004.
On 4th June 2005 Pastor Josphat Wachira was elected
the National Director of Brotherhood Auxially
Department of FAITH OF ONENESS GOSPEL CHURCH –KENYA.In the year 2008 Pastor Josphat THE APOSTOLIC WAY MINISTRY with the vision of preaching through the media ( Radio & T.V. since no any other apostolic minister have ever been able to preach through the media.If any of you out there can partner with us in this undertaking, it shall be to God's Glory, be blessed as you prepare to be a part of us.
Pastor Josphat Wachira has so far produced three
Albums. He is married to Margaret and they are blessed
with three children ,sons Denis and Ken and girl Patricia
