Who we are

Christ Chapel is a small group of conservative Christians who meet in rural Marshall County, in far western Kentucky, to worship God in the traditional Anglican way. That "way" is liturgical and centered around the traditional Book of Common Prayer. We use the 1928 edition, the last "traditional" BCP. Our group is blessed to have two
worship locations. On Sunday mornings, we meet at The Lighthouse, a unique floating Chapel moored on Kentucky Lake adjacent to Southern Komfort resort and campground. That is the picture with water in it. On Wednesdays, we meet in the chapel of ease of the Hiter Family, in Fairdealing, Kentucky. Our worship leader is Dr. T. Y. Hiter.
The Eucharist and other sacramental worship is scheduled periodically. We've been together for almost a decade, now, but only recently became a Mission of the United Episcopal Church in North America, one of the original "continuing" Anglican Churches.
