All our worship is meaningful, and every service is beautiful, but weddings, especially when they are family, are way the most fun! Sarepta Dawn Hooks and Joey Elliott tied the knot earlier this summer. God Bless them and their marriage. We certainly wish them the best!

Winter, 2011. "Nuff said!
Last Spring, our "floating chapel" on Kentucky Lake floated just fine, but the gangplank that we used to get to it disappeared under nearly twenty feet of additional lake water! It happened again, this year.

The first Sunday in March, we launched our new ministry at Lighthouse Chapel, on Kentucky Lake.
All are welcome. Come by boat, car or whatever. You will certainly fell the "rocking of the waters", and you might well get a gilmpse of an American eagle feeding, as we did last Sunday!
In February, Tom and Millie Hiter called on EMC Bishop and Mrs. Millsaps, in Monteagle. The visit was great. The weather was unseasonable.

But, then, winter had already come to call at Sound Retreat Farm in January!
Our usually green (or, at this time of year, brown) fields turned white in mid-January,
when we got almost an inch
Then, at the end of the month, we got an additional
3 or 4 inches,
In February, we had almost six!
Happily, we can still recall sunnier days, when, for example,
EMC Bishop Millsaps came to visit and celebrate the Eucharist
