Welcome to our website. Both Christ Chapel and The Lighthouse are missions of the United Episcopal Church of North America (UECNA), located in the Kentucky and Barkley Lakes area of far western Kentucky. We worship liturgically, using the 1928 BCP and the King James translation of the Bible. We're a small group of committed and traditional Christians. We'd love to have you join us for a visit or forever.

Welcome UECNA

Christ Chapel and The Lighthouse are proud to announce that we have been named Missions (one Mission, really, with two locations) of the United Episcopal Church of North America (UECNA). As such, we are part of the Missionary Diocese of the South and Ozarks, headquartered in Ava, Missouri. Our Ordinary is Bishop Glen Hartley. You'll find more about UECNA on the website (see "Anglican links".

Our pastor and his wife, Millie, recently visited Jerusalem and the Holy Land. We expect both topical references in our Sunday homilies and at least one dynamite slide show very soon! The Lighthouse Chapel

The Lighthouse Chapel no longer occupies a separate web site. Since almost all of us are the same people, whether at the Lighthouse or at Hiter Chapel, we're all part of an Anglican mission that's named "Christ Chapel at Sound Retreat Farm", so we're in the process of integrating the two sites into one. Please check often, for changes are being made almost daily.
