Creation assures us that God loves the world. The signs of His loving care are everywhere. "What is man that you are mindful of him?" The cross assures us that God loves us. "This is love," writes the Apostle John, "not that we loved God, but that He loved us so much that He sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." Have you surrendered your life to God? . The Christian faith ultimately stands or falls on the evidence of Christ's resurrection. If Jesus rose from the dead, then His teaching has authority and the realities of life take on a deeper meaning purpose. If Jesus did not rise (as the bible states) from the dead, then we preach an empty salvation/ faith message. If you buy into the hallucination theory then you have to believe that 500 people had the same hallucination at exactly the same place and time. Psychiatrists will tell you that even two people, let alone 500 people cannot have the same hallucination at once. The fact that Jesus appeared to so many people at the same time would invalidate this theory. If the disciples of Jesus believed this lie, would they have put their very lives on the line? One of the 12 disciples was himself a skeptic and it was not until Jesus invited him to examine the marks for himself that he believed. Jesus did die on the cross. His followers, even His enemies knew He rose from the dead. He can help you with your unbelief if you will but ask, because Jesus still answers knee mail. John 3 verse 16: says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Romans 10 verse 9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." verse 10 goes on to say, " For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
