1. The world is increasing in population at a rate of 10,300 an hour.

2. Every single second three souls die, 180 every minute, 19,400 per hour, and 249,600 per day.

3. If 3,000 souls were saved today like there was on the day of Pentecost, it would take 7,984 years to reach China with a population of 1.3 billion people.

4. In the past 10-12 years, there has been a 50% reduction in the number of men surrendering to preach and the number of families going to the mission field.

5. Between 1984 and 1999, we lost 30% of the fundamental missionaries on the field.

6. Half of the missionaries on the field are over 50 years old.

7. America used to be number one per capita, in sending out missionaries, today we are number 16.

8. Only about 28% of missionaries around the world are directly involved in church planting.

9. Since the invention of the printing press, over 2 billion Bibles have been printed. 85% of those were printed in one language, English. The other 15% are left to cover the 6,528 known languages in the world. There are 274 languages that have a complete Bible and 745 languages that have the New Testament only. Some others have only portions of the Bible.

10. There are 2,000 languages without a single verse of Scripture. That’s over 3 billion people, nearly half the world’s population.
