1. THE SIMPLE TRUTH

There is a God and He loves you so much that he took on the form of a man and came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ so that you could enter the Kingdom of Heaven and live forever in his presence. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

2. WHERE SIN CAME FROM

We were separated from God when Adam disobeyed him in the garden of Eden. "And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Genesis 2:16 & 17

When Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil they died spiritually. That death was passed on to every person who has ever been born. "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" Romans 5:12

3. WHY DO I NEED TO BE SAVED

The Bible says that everyone is a sinner and because of this we fall short of God's intended purposes to bring Him Honor and Glory. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23 "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one:" Romans 3:10. In our lost condition there is nothing we can do to please God. "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." Isaiah 64:6. "But without faith it is impossible to please him..." Hebrews 11:6
As sinners we are destined for Hell, to be forever separated from God. "For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23. "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake fire." Rev. 20:14-15.

4. HOW CAN I BE SAVED

Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, therefore he was not affected by the sin of Adam. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life. He was put to death on a cross, where he took our sins upon himself. Jesus paid for our sins, he suffered our Hell, he became sin for us. On the third day Christ arose from the grave and is now seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. Hebrews 7:25

We can receive everlasting life by repenting of our sins and trusting in the finished work of Jesus to secure our place in Heaven. There is no other way to be reconciled to God. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6. The Bible says in Romans 10:9-11, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-11,13.

If you have seen through the scriptures your need of a Savior, call upon him today. The Bible says in John 6:37 "All that the father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out". Ask him to forgive you of your sins and reconcile you to God, by faith in Jesus Christ.
