To publish the Scriptures and make them available to missionaries and nationals at no cost in as many languages as possible knowing God’s Word will not return void.
What is Seedline?
Seedline is a means for the local church to have hands-on involvement with Bible publishing for the world with the focus on glorifying God. This is accomplished by taking the printed page, collating it, folding covers, inserting the Scripture in the cover, stapling, cutting, and boxing the finished book, then shipping them to the foreign field.
The seed is the Word of God. Down through the ages there has been a line of churches that have stayed true to His word and commandments to make Christ known. Under The Law, kings and priests were commanded to make copies of the Word of God. In the New Testament, the local churches were the publishers of God’s Word. The apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 4:16 “And when this epistle is read among you, cause it to be read also in the church…” He also wrote in I Thessalonians 5:27 “I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren” We are in the “Church Age” and God still wants the church to publish His Word. It is God’s commandment that we make Christ known to the world by the Scriptures.
We believe the Seedline Ministry gives Christians the opportunity to have a personal, hands-on involvement in making Christ known throughout the world.
Why should my Church participate in Seedline?
It is simply to become Biblical. Nowhere do we find God turning over His Book to the world. So we, with your help, have set out to put Bible publishing back into the local New Testament Church.
We believe the Lord commissioned the Local Church to evangelize the world and to baptize and disciple the converts. The commission must certainly include the publication and distribution of Scriptures. The Word of God is essential to the furtherance of the Gospel.
What are the benefits of participating in Seedline?
1. It will help you carry out a Biblical mandate.
2. It will give your people a new appreciation for God’s Word.
3. It will greatly assist your missionaries to have the very tool (God’s Word) to win souls, plant churches, and disciple and build ministries in the language of the people.
4. It is a ministry that involves both young and old in missions.
5. It allows your church to reach people in countries where you do not currently have a missionary.
Suggested ways to fund your Seedline involvement:
1. Special Offerings.
2. Faith Promise.
a. Agree to increase your giving now,
trusting God to provide.
3. Designated Gifts.
a. Sunday School offerings
b. VBS offerings
4. Participate in “National Bible
Publishing Month”.
5. Participate in the “Just One Dollar”
offering campaign.
