Prayers
Good Saint Longinus,
help me obtain, please, clemency for the sins I have committed in falling prey to the demons manifesting themselves through pornography. Blessed Saint, I seek your aid in this matter because of the example of God’s mercy given you for your acts committed as a centurion at Cavalry. Let the veil of delusion be lifted and I be allowed to see clearly my enemies in their true forms; for no man may serve two lords which are contrary to the other; the idols of pornography are lords of malice, corrupters of all good works and enemies to chastity, humility and to bounty, and friend to all modes of luxury, of gluttony, of idleness, of pride and of avarice, and my Lord, Jesus Christ, is Lord of the soberness that brings the people to the everlasting life. To Jesus Christ, I pray, through the Virgin Mary, St Michael the Arch Angel and you St Longinus, all in imitation of Glorious St Joseph. Amen.
Prayer to Saint Joseph to Know One's Vocation
O Great Saint Joseph, you were completely obedient to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Obtain for me the grace to know the state of life that God in his providence has chosen for me. Since my happiness on earth, and perhaps even my final happiness in heaven, depends on this choice, let me not be deceived in making it.
Obtain for me the light to know God's Will, to carry it out faithfully, and to choose the vocation which will lead me to a happy eternity.
Glorious Saint Joseph, foster-father and protector of Jesus Christ, to you I raise my heart and my hands to implore your powerful intercession. Please obtain for me from the kind Heart of Jesus the help and the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare. I ask particularly for the grace of a happy death and the special favor I now implore. {mention your petition}
Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel animated with confidence that your prayers in my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. O glorious Saint Joseph, through the love you bear to Jesus Christ, and for the glory of His name, hear my prayers and obtain my petitions.
Memorare Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother! To thee I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
