Ezekiel House provides residency for a sufficient time for the person to actually "get on their feet," unlike most Missions which allow only a few days stay. We fully understand it takes time for person to find a job and save enough to "step out on their own."
Ezekiel House provides Christian support and residence, use of a phone, transportation, clothing, meals, personal hygiene items, referrals to other community agencies/resources...WHATEVER IT TAKES, to assist the person to actually gain a new foothold in life.
Being a Christian centered ministry, we also have Bible Study, so residents can be taught there ARE reasons TO "believe," and that God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one, and they are REAL! Naturally, we have Sunday School and Worship Services as well. (Ezekiel House is an Outreach of the Ezekiel Church of God in Christ, Russell L. Smith, Bishop.)
We have NO PAID STAFF.....ALL contributions are used for facility expenses.....NOT "payroll."
Our staff are all volunteers, and most of our financial support comes from them, but they cannot cover everything (though they try valiantly!).....we could use your help! If you'd be so kind as to offer support to help "cover the gap," it would be much appreciated!! (Keeping us in your prayers would also be much appreciated!) If you are able to offer financial support, please make checks/M.O.'s payable to "Ezekiel House." Receipts for tax purposes will be issued for any contribution of $10, or more.
