Chrysler Freedom Calls
The Chrysler / Freedom Calls Scheduling & Coordination Process As should be expected, video conference (V/C) visits between family members / friends / teachers / students, soldiers, V/C facilities & personnel in Iraq and Chrysler requires scheduling, coordination and support from all parties. Chrysler has developed the following process to make it as easy as possible for these opportunities to happen. 1: If you contact either the e-mail box: hero@chrysler.com or phone line: 248-512-HERO (4376) to schedule a conference you will be requested to provide the following information via e-mail to the address above: .Your soldier’s name / rank, e-mail and deployed phone number (if available)Confirmed location, dates & times (AM / PM in Eastern time zone (EST)) that they will be able to attend a V/C at one of the Iraq camps listed below and that your family / friends / students will also be able .visit the Chrysler Technology Center (CTC) in Auburn Hills. .These are the only 5 Freedom Calls locations that this service can be offered. – Camp Fallujah – Camp Taji – Al Asad Air Base – Camp Taqaddum (also called “TQ”) – Camp Victory (Baghdad) List of names of the family members / friends / teachers / students that will be arriving for the V/C at CTC. Primary family / teacher contact’s name, phone number, e-mail address and relationship to the soldier. 2: Chrysler will coordinate with the Freedom Calls foundation to schedule the V/C facility in Iraq and we will correspondingly schedule a V/C room at CTC. We will also assign you a personal escort and notify building security for authorizing your CTC access. 3: You and your soldier will be sent a confirmation e-mail (and follow-up phone call to the family / teacher primary contact) indicating the date, time and family members / friends / teachers / students expected for your video conference. You also will receive the name of your personal Chrysler escort, map / parking / lobby entrance directions, request to have some form of identification, time you should arrive, “if you have questions” . . . 4: When you arrive for your visit, you will park in special Chrysler Freedom Calls designated parking, enter through the “Technology Center lobby” (FYI; there is a Headquarters lobby entrance close by as well), meet your personal Chrysler escort who will assist you through Security, identify restroom locations, and lead you to the V/C meeting room. In the room the call will be established and your escort will start the DVD recorder for your complimentary recording of the “far end video” and “all audio” of your visit. (If for any reasons you do not want this “one and only copy” of this DVD please let your escort know.) You will have 30 minutes of private time but if you need any assistance your escort will be stationed outside the meeting room door. At the end of your videoconference visit your escort will end the call, present you the complimentary DVD, and escort you back to the lobby.
