If all goes well, she will only be in the hospital for a few days, hopefully coming home on Thursday afternoon. Her home recovery time is expected to be six to eight weeks. Although the procedure is common, but not necessarily for her age, I would greatly appreciate your prayers for her safe and speedy recovery.
Obviously I’m a bit nervous for her well-being, but also concerned that she has had her bags packed for over a week. It’s almost like she’s going on vacation. I’m starting to think she paid off her doctor to have this procedure so she could get a break from me and the boys (can you blame her?). So, while Vicki is enjoying her Club-Med vacation, please keep me and boys in your prayers as well that we can survive while she is gone.
Also, please keep our friends, Tom & Lori Harm, and their family in your prayers. Lori’s dad, Gerald A. Ford, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 66.
