We have discovered new fundraising with a profitable return that everyone can help with.
We are currently involved with several fundraising opportunities available to churches and other groups and are receiving a nice return by just being a part of the process.

Project12 Baskets ...St. Mark has partnered with Project 12 Baskets which allows us to collect donated items of value and turn them into dollars. Their support staff and system connects us to a variety of public electronic auction sites and resale specialists. This process delivers broad participation and increases the price of items to their optimal value. As the sales take place, we get the dollars and the donors get wonderful tax deductions. Truly the Lord provides for each of us abundantly. Project 12 Baskets challenges us to look closely at that abundance to determine if what was once precious might now serve the Lord in a more useful and immediate manner. Look for more news regarding Project 12 Baskets soon. For more information, visit their website, www. project12baskets.com, or call Lauren Kuppe at (586) 726-2095.
Goodsearch ...Everytime you use the Goodsearch link on our site, we are credited online for the church. Imagine if every time you logged on and looked up,for instance, the caloric content of the snack you just ate, you earned money for St.Mark. With each search you launch on goodsearch.com, about 1 cent goes to St.Mark church. You simply select "St.Mark church" from a database of thousands or so, then tell all your friends, tell your friends to tell their friends and so on. If 1,000 people picked St.Mark, and did a search twice a day for a year, we would earn $7,300.
Abitibi Paper Retriever ...St. Mark Parish Recycles - Make Every Page Count!! Remember, we will receive cash for all clean, dry newspapers, advertising inserts, office paper, and junk mail collected. The paper is all placed in the bins without sorting or removal of staples. Each bin holds between 1 to 1½ tons. When the paper is collected, it is weighed on scales on the trucks. A monthly statement detailing the weight of paper collected for that month is accompanied by a check for the amount collected. Many churches, schools and other non-profit organizations have earned money by starting this program. $4 million was paid to participating organizations in 2006 alone. This program succeeds when we all work together: parish members, family, friends, and neighbors. Fun Facts About Paper Recycling.. .
