Funding/Love Offerings It takes money to save lost souls.
2 Corinthians 8:1-7 (niv) And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing this service to the saints. And they did not do as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will. So we urged Titus, since he had earlier made a beginning, to bring also to completion this act of grace on your part. But just as you excel in everything--in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us--see that you also excel in this grace of giving. CAN YOU AFFORD TO GIVE????? It is appropriate for me to explain that we mostly use our own meager paycheck to carry out our ministry/mission work. We purchase as many Bibles, tracts, and other necessities to give away as our funds allow, which never seems to be enough. It is sometimes very difficult to go to a motorcycle rally 50 miles down the road, pay $40 or so entry(for 2), buy eats-refreshments, support the benefit(children's,accident or transplant patient,etc.),"walk the walk" among things Paul says don't speak of, and Plant Seeds, Water Seeds We've Planted, and Pray with a BIG BURLY Biker in the mist of Hundreds of bikers. But when one of those Hearts is changed and he or she surrenders to Christ you give GOD the glory. It is difficult to minister at some of these wild events, but our greatest difficulty is having enough money to go to all the events where we are needed. Somehow, someway God supplies a dollar here and one somewhere else. We do not recieve from any Church, Organization, Association, Etc. Only what we work for AND the small amounts recieved from Brothers and Sisters like youself who recognize the need for our ministry. We have exciting stories about Hardcore bikers who have come to Christ and are now serving Our Lord, some in Ministry now,****the workers God sent to the Plentiful harvest where the workers are few.
