Melodies of Faith is the name of our radio program. It airs on WARE 1250 on your AM dial. We restarted on February 23, 2003. We are on the air each Sunday at 7:05 a.m. after the news and weather [and in the winter, the ski report].

A brief history of the FBC radio ministry...

The Faith Baptist Church radio ministry previously aired the Faith Baptist Hour on WARE Radio. In 1999, after 49 years of being on WARE, the language format at the station changed and we were not a good fit anymore.

In February of 2003, we went back on the air when the station was sold and the format changed back to English.  We returned for an approximately 1 hour program featuring sacred music and a message.  We also run the special music from the church that has been recorded in the digital format.

Pastor Anderson enjoys putting the program together and speaking on the radio.

When Pastor Anderson is unavailable, Barry Underwood fills in for him.

A shortcut, if you have winamp or jetaudio installed on your computer is http://ware.d2gwebsite.com:8000 - this gets you to the Shoutcast server page, hit listen at the top of the middle column and save and open.  
When it asks what program to use to open it, just pick winamp or jet audio.
There is a player on the WARE web site that only shows up when you use Internet Explorer.  It is about 1/4 of the way down on the right side of the page.  It does not seem to appear when using Firefox.
