Dear Friends,
Welcome to the website of Rolling Hills Baptist Church. We are thankful that you stopped by to visit with us and we want you to know if there is ever anything we can do to help you then please let us know. Allow us to tell you a little bit about who we are. We are a mission work under the authority of the South Irvine Baptist Church in Irvine, Kentucky where Brother Michael Brandenburg is the Pastor. We are one of three missionaries to Eastern Kentucky that is working out of South Irvine. We are referred to as Kentucky Mountain Missionaries. Our goal and desire is to start New Testament Missionary Baptists Churches in this region.
You may be asking .."So what makes you different from all the other Baptist Churches out there?" There are several things that makes us different but, for time and space sake we will only give a few.
1) We are Independent Baptist. This means that we belong to no organized convention, associton or organized fellowship of Churches. We believe that glory is only given through the local New Testament Baptist Church; Ephesians 3:21.
2) We are Distinctively Baptist. We believe that Christ started his Church during his earthly ministry (before Pentecost) Mark 4:13-19, Corinthians 12:28.
3) We preach Christ alone for the salvation of sinners. There is no mixture of grace and good works or works alone that saves sinners. Romans 11:6; I Corinthians 1:11-21; Galatians 1:6-9; Ephesians 2:8-10
