Lisa Allen My Angel, My Brother Always encouraging, cheering me on Always listening, advising with love Always knowing, speaking with wisdom Always caring, giving and sharing Never doing for me; what I can do myself! Sometimes I wonder, just what I'd do If I had no brother, just like you No one to say uh oh!, when I fall Or say " Don't give up" at times when I call No one to accept me, despite all my faults Never to judge or degrade me at all Just love me and nod with your quiet thoughts Such silent understanding, can never be bought I know I've not told you often enough My feelings of gratitude, even of love I thank God each day And at night as I pray For giving such a wonderful gift to me To love and to cherish each day that I breath From the highest mountain, to the depths of my heart For sending you brother, though we're miles apart So you see brother dear, though we're miles away God blessed us the same For his most cherished gift, the most precious of all Was you, my angel, my guardian in disguise My brother!
