Lisa Allen To Feel Deeply When I feel sad, I cry When I feel glad, I laugh When I feel mad, I rage I do not like, I love you see Because, I feel so deeply When I feel content, I’m peaceful When I feel elation, I’m glowing When I feel pain, it pierces’ me Like knives within my chest Because I feel so deeply Sometimes I feel emotions All bottled up inside That threatens to make me dizzy When one fights and will not hide A pulling and circling tornado Because I feel so deeply Sometimes they’re not quite friendly These feelings deep beneath my heart In fact they are my enemy Ever threatening to pull me apart Because I feel so deeply I fight from day to day, morning, noon, and night To gain control and to survive This struggle every day as my Emotions try to win All because I feel so deeply Lisa ©Copyright 2003 Lisa Allen All Rights Reserved |
