What's it all about?First a little history according to the bible...one of the oldest books in the world. God made us Gen.2:7 because He is a loving Father 1Jn.4:16 wanting to share His life and love with someone like Himself Gen.1:27. Forming Adam from the dust of the earth into His image and likness; God blew into Adam the breath of life and Adam became a living being. God could have made us robots to do anything He wanted but no; He gave us free will like Himself, so that the ones who love Him, would love Him by their own free will choice. God allowed man to be tested in the garden but man failed this test by breaking agreement with God and agreeing (in sin) with the serpent Gen.3:6. Since that time to this; God has wanted to bring mankind back into agreement with Himself. God chose leaders such as Moses Ex 19-20 to deliver His reconcilitory message but although the people listened for a while they fell back into sin (disagreement with God). Down through the centuries mankind tried to but failed to obey the law. Then the prophets proclaimed the coming of a savior (Messiah). Jesus was the love of God manifested to bring mankind back into agreement with Him. Jn.3:16. Not only did He fulfill all the law and the prophets but He came to pay the debt we owed God because of our original sin. "For He (God) made Him who knew no sin, to become sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."2Cor.5:21. We are all His creation but not all of us are His children. Jn.1:11-13 The Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory that of the only begotten of the Father full of His love, grace, truth and favor to all that receive Him. His sacrificial attonment on the cross was the only way man could be reconcilled back to God. It is only through the Blood of Jesus that we can come boldly to Father Gods throne of grace and love. It is only by (study, meditate,) renewing our mind in Gods word that we can come back into agreement with God to know His perfect will Rm.12:1-2. As a father raising a family, I am begining to see so many similiarities between Father God and His children and my attempting to raise my children to be honest, truthful, and walk in integrity. I love each and every one of my children even though sometimes they don't show their love for me, I still love them. I remember my dad wanting me to agree with Him in all things giving me the benefit of his years of wisdom; and it was his dream for me to be just like him without any of his shortcomings. Is God any different with His children? I think not! However, according to the scriptures, Father God wants us to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and our neighbor as ourself. I thought to myself; what father doesn't love for his children to come up and sit on his lap and give him the biggest hug ever and tell him how much he is loved and appreciated? What father doesn't want his children to get along and play nicely with one another? Yet how many of Gods' children even think about Him during the day, week, month or year? How many love Father God the way Matt.22 commands? So we started these soaking meetings to impart the idea to others of how you can come into Gods' presence. We gather weekly and we come together to worship Father God in spirit and truth and tell Him how much we love Him. Det. 6:4-6 His love and favor is returned to those who truly love Him. Scripture says it is His good pleasure to give us His kingdom and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. We encourage everyone to choose every morning, to place yourselves into His loving arms and lay your heads on His shoulder to receive more of His love, so that no matter what problems or circumstances come up the rest of the day; we don't react like a mad man but we can respond in His love, His power, and with a sound mind. . . GOD IS LOVE AND HE LOVES YOU! PS: The main theme of Fruit of the Vine Ministries is to impart the Fathers love message to those called and chosen as tools in Gods’ hand to fulfill His plan in the earth today. The Holy Spirit has called FOVM to establish a (meeting place) ministry center of praise, worship, prayer and bible study to equip young and old to fulfill their destiny in Christ; to reveal and activate all Gods' people in their respective gifts and callings, talents and abilities that the Lord God has given them. It will take money to establish His covenant and fulfill His plan.
