BLESSED BE THE LORD...........NOT ONE WORD HAS FAILED OF ALL HIS GOOD PROMISE. 1Kings 8:56
There are more than thirty-seven thousand promises in the Word of God. Following are some of those promises that have touched my heart in a very special way. I hope they speak to your heart as well.
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. [John 6:35]
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. [2 Corinthians 5:17]
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. [James 5:15]
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? [Psalm 27:1]
The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. [Psalm 145:8]
For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death. [Psalm 48:14]
And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him. [Paslm 37:40]
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day. [2 Timothy 1:12]
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. [Proverbs 28:26]
But as it is written. Eye hath not seen, nor ear hear, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. [1 Corinthians 2:9]
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. [James 4:7-8]
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. [2 Corinthians 4:16-17]
The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. [Proverbs 12:19]
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek Him: your heart shall live forever. [Psalm 22:26]
But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. [Isaiah 49:25]
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. [Psalm 9:10]
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. [1 Peter 2:2]
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. [Proverbs 3:5-6]
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. [Psalm 34:18]
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. [Acts 16:31]
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. [Ephesians 2:8]
Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. [Romans 10:17]
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. [John 14:27]
