Mission Statement
Our Purpose
Our mission is to help people become more and more conformed into the image of Christ in every area of life!
Our Vision
To be a part of Christian army for winning as many people as we can to eternal life through Jesus and believe they will arrive in heaven in the most Christ-like condition possible.
Our Standards
Doctrinally, we adhere to the inerrancy of the Scriptures in their totality. The following three standards are those we believe God has set as pillars for this particular body -- pillars that have proven themselves a firm foundation for our vision and lives:
1. To be Devoted to the words of Christ.
We believe God is calling the church to be disciples of Jesus Christ and that our level of commitment should at least equal that to that of great commission disciples (Matt 28:20). With the Old Testament eagerly looking forward to Messiah's coming and the New Testament reflecting from His coming, we esteem the literal words of Christ as the clearest revelation of Himself.
2. To be Humble.
We believe this as the only way we can be conformed to Christ is by receiving the grace that leads to repentance and lavish transformation in all areas of life that are not Christ-like. We need His grace to change and acknowledge that God is opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).
3. Faithfulness in prayer.
There is power in a life sustained by and built upon a foundation of prayer. We belief in prayer and encourage one another to be faithful in personal and corporate prayer.
Our Statement of Faith
Holy Bible: We affirm the Holy Bible as the Inspired Word of God, and as the only basis for our beliefs. We believe that only the 66 books of the Bible are inspired, and therefore the inerrant Word of God. It is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live. (Matt. 5:18; John 10:35; 2 Tim. 3:16).
Trinity:
We believe that the one true God exists eternally in three Personalities, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and that these, being one God, are equal in deity, power and glory. We believe that God created the world, upholds, sustains, governs and providentially directs it and all that exists and that He will bring all things to their proper consummation in Christ Jesus to the glory of His Name. (Acts 24:28; Eph.1:9-12).
Jesus Christ:
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and offered Himself as a substitute sacrifice for sinners. By the blood of His cross he bought us eternal redemption and eternal life. He was raised bodily on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father, they’re to intercede for the saints. (Matt. 1:18-25; Romans. 8:34; Ephesians. 1:1; Col. 1:15-23).
Salvation:
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Christ Jesus alone. No ordinance, sacrifice, work or any other activity on the part of man is required in order to be saved. This saving grace of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, also sanctifies us by enabling us to do what is pleasing in God's sight in order that we might be progressively conformed to the image of Christ. (Eph. 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:1-2).
Baptism of the Holy Spirit:
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit, in whom also we are sealed for the day of redemption. At or subsequent to conversion, the Spirit fills, empowers and anoints believers for ministry and witness. We also believe that signs and wonders, as well as all the gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament, are operative today and are designed to testify to the presence of the kingdom and to empower and edify the church to fulfill its calling and mission. (Matt. 3:11; Acts 1:8; Gal. 3:1-5).
Heaven & Hell:
We believe that hell is real and heaven is certain and that when the Christian dies he/she will forever dwell in blissful fellowship with God. We also believe that when the unbeliever dies he/she is consigned to hell, there to await the Day of Judgment when he/she shall be punished with eternal separation from the presence of God. (Psalm 16:11; 2 Corinthian. 5:4-10; Rev. 20:11-15).
Second Coming:
We believe in the literal second coming of Christ at the end of the age to personally consummate His kingdom. We also believe in prayer for a great end-time harvest of souls and the emergence of a victorious Church of unprecedented unity, purity and power in the Holy Spirit. (Rev. 7:9-14; 2 Thessalonians. 1:10-2:8).
