~Why I have A Website Ministry ~

Why do I have a Internet Ministry?
I have asked my self this question over and over. I have been on the Internet for about nine years, and I have gone through so many transitions in my thinking about an Internet ministry. I have often wondered does this ministry really touch the lives of the many who visit here?
At times I thought about cancelling out my site but God just would not allow me to do so. For about a year now I have had a vision of myself in a pastoral setting. I wrestled with this vision for a long time. It was a vision of a Macedonia call. I saw a small group of people men and women, and all the children were standing in the front. They were all dressed in heavy winter coats, hats, and gloves and seemed to be shivering from the cold. They were calling for me to come over to help them. There seemed to be a great expanse of space between us. I would think of them every day and pray for the fulfillment of the vision.
I thought possibly I would be brought out in ministry at some point and some day on the mission field. My heart longs for these people and children that God allowed me to see. I have never met them, but I feel as though I know them every one.
My heart longs to see all of Gods children that visit my website to be ministered to, and by faith I do see them. Daily I hold them up before Almighty God to bless and keep them and draw them back home to Himself.
This brings me to my question why do I have this Internet ministry?
Today April 3, 2008 God began to reveal to me why I continue to have a Internet ministry.
I have met and ministered to many people these eyes have never seen. To Pastors from many different Countries. To many broken lives I have not met, I sent my Prayer Shawls I crochet to those I have not seen with my eyes, yet with my spiritual eyes I have.
Reaching out to the lost and broken children of God, the Gentle Heart Ministries website is going where I can not go physically. It is reaching to the far corners of the world through the Internet.
Meeting and praying for Pastors, that I may have not been able to meet or minister to physically. To those in prison, and those who may be in spiritual bonds the gospel of Christ is not bound.
There is no wall to high or thick that The Holy Spirit can not reach and penetrate it. There is no darkness so great but the Christ's light will greatly light it to become a great blazing flame for all the world to see!
Gentle Heart Ministries carrying the Gospel of Christ, to the far corners of the world. By Our God and the Holy Spirit we can leap over a wall and through the thickest prison walls.
I may still shepherd a flock somewhere, as they are calling unto me now as I write this article. Yet for now My website is going behind walls, through fences, to other Countries and many more places I could never go. Praise You Jesus! In His Love And Service Pastor Ruth

(Matthew 28: 17-20)
The Great Commission
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
(Acts 1: 4-11) The Holy Spirit Promised
And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Jesus Ascends to Heaven
Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven
