 Gentle Heart Ministries

When Jesus the Shepherd is near we are at peace. His presence comforts us. He ministers to us tending to any wounds, we may have gotten from straying away from Him. When we trust Jesus the Chief Shepherd of our soul. We will never be lead a stray by others opinions, of how they see God!

The characteristic's of God.

When you read the Gospels it gives a true picture, of who our Shepherd is. It gives a clear picture of Christ in His beauty, Mercy, and Kindness. As I have already said, His sheep know, His voice, as they are taught to listen to it, in times of fellowship with Him.
Our Shepherd is a sacrificial Shepherd, so we know we can trust Him with our very life. He did so much for us when He died on Calvary for us.

The Caring Shepherd,
He feeds and leads us both spiritually and naturally. Oh how much He cares for you and me He hovers over us like a Mother hovers over her children. His eyes are ever upon us Watching, guiding, caring, and seeing wrongs, that are done to us. He takes an account when we are hurt and offended nothing gets past His all seeing eyes.

The Lord  leads us to green pastures of rest and refreshment. We never need to worry that the Lord will tire of us, or abandon us along the way. He will guide us to His living waters, and will wipe, every tear from our eyes.

As I have put together these scriptures for us his children, to think on. I feel His kindness, and His glory, and His awesome love surround me. It is at these times, I know of a surety we can trust Him with our very lives and souls. Won’t you hear the voice and call of your dear Shepherd, calling you home today? He is our savior and he came to seek and save the lost.
Please come home to the gentle shepherd of your soul?
A Shepherd whose voice we know!

The Providing Shepherd

(Psalms 23: 1-2)
The Lord is my Shepherd (to feed and guide and shield me);
I shall not lack.
He makes me to lie down in (fresh tender) green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.

(John 10:1-11)
(Amplified Bible)
I Assure you, most solemenly tell you, he who does not enter in by the
door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way (elsewhere from some other quarter) is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the Door is the Shepherd of the sheep. The watchman opens up opens the door for this man,
and the sheep listen to His voice and heed it, and He calls His own sheep by name and brings and leads them out. When He has brought His own Sheep outside,
He walks on before them, and the sheep follow Him, because they know His voice.
They will never (on any account) follow a stranger, but will run away from him because they do not know the voice of a stranger or recognize their call.
Jesus used this parable, (illustration) with them, but they did not understand what He was talking about.
I tell you, that I Myself Am The Door for the sheep. All others who came (as such) before Me are thieves and robbers, but the true sheep do not listen and obey them
I am the Door. Anyone who enters in through me will be saved- will live.
He will come in and go out (freely) and will find pasture. and kill and destroy.
I come that they may have and enjoy life. And have it in abundance—to the full, till it overflows. Iam the good Shepherd The good Shepherd risks and lays down His (own) life for the sheep.

Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand,
marked off the heaven’s (with a nine inch) span; enclosed the earth in a measure, weighed the mountians in His scales and the hills in a balance.

A Risen Shepherd

(Hebrews: 13:20)
Now may the God of Peace- (who is) the author and giver of peace
and who brought again from among the dead our LORD JESUS,
that great SHEPHERD of the sheep, by the BLOOD, (that sealed, ratified) the everlasting agreement (Covenant Testament.)
(Isaiah 63:11) (Zechariah 9:11) (Isaiah 55:3) (Ezekiel 37:26)

I have believed (adhered to and trusted and relied on) and I am positively persuaded that he is able to guard. And keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed (to him), until that day.
(The Amplified Bible)

The Bishop and Shepherd Of Our Souls!

Often times in the word of God Jesus spoke of Himself, as the Shepherd of the sheep. The Church He redeemed with His own blood.  When the Lord was speaking of His sheep, He often said "My sheep know my voice, and no other voice will they follow."
