Vessels God Has Chosen

Beloved of God; He has not chosen the wise to show forth His wisdom, and power. God has chosen rather the foolishness of man to confound the wise. God has not chosen the strong man to show forth His strength, He has chosen the weak to show forth his power. The foolishness of God is greater than the wisdom of the world. When I came to God I was not wise nor strong.  I was a homemaker, a Mother, and a wife I devoted my life to my family and knew nothing about Jesus or Religion for that matter.

I had never read the Bible, or went to Church much, I was totally un-knowledgeable to the Christian world. I felt as though I was in a foreign world amongst people who spoke a strange language. After I dedicated my life and heart to Jesus, and was filled with the precious Holy Spirit. It was then that my ears and eyes were opened to the language, traditions, and the culture of the Christian world. As I grew in the grace and knowledge of God, I began to look like a Christ one, I spoke and walked like Christ. I walked in the Kingdom of God, a tall and true Christian.

As we continue on in our growth and development we begin to show forth His wisdom, strength and power. I have never attended Bible College, or sat at the feet of so called great preachers.  Yet God invested a lot of His power in me and in you.  We are His great treasure and he continually watches over His children

I attended Sunday school and Bible studies. I went to Church, and attended four Church services a week.  I drank in the Word of God like a thirsty sponge. When I went home on Monday through Friday I continued to study the Word on a daily basis.  This is how I became like Christ, Yet I was a base vessel in His hands. As the potter began to mold me in a useful vessel of purpose.

I remember when someone tried to kill me, Christ's words became louder than the roar of the enemy. When we call upon the name of the Lord he hears us out of His Holy Hill, and in His Strength we become mighty in our vessels of weakness yet made strong by His strength.

Yes Beloved You are safe in the Potters hand, and when you feel weak the Lord will speak out and send His strength into your holy vessel that has been molded for His great purposes. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13) As we lean on Christ; and learn of Him we become strong overcomers through His grace, peace, and love. As we decrease and Christ increases in our lives and we are continually changed from glory to glory.

Beloved we have this treasure in our earthen vessels to show forth the power of God.

Thank you for visiting my web home I pray that this little Heart Talk will bless you and encourage you in your walk with your Lord. May you truly feel strengthened through Gods Power and wisdom.

Glory Only in the Lord

(1 Corinthians 1: 26-31)

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."

We Have this treasure in earthen vessels

(Second Corinthians 4:7)

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.  We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—  always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.  For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.  So then death is working in us, but life in you.

Christ the Potter

(Romans 9: 20-24)

But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, "Why have you made me like this?" Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
