Actions Vs. Reactions Bible Topic

This topic was put together to encourage Christians, to keep on walking with their God, no matter how many times they  fall short.

Be encouraged my bretheran!!

I have wanted to add something that would speak to your hearts and be a great encouragement to us all as Christians.

A.  Actions and reactions

B.  Self judgement and condemnation

C.  Temptations and endurance

How are we allowing these to form us in to the person of his image?

Yes beloved; God will take good care of you he always leaves us, much space for our growth and development.

I must admit when the heat is turned up I sometimes react, with an actions not suitable to the person I truly am in God.

Is this trial caused by an action, and our reaction?

When someone comes at me like hungry lions out of a cage.

I have a tendency to take on a defensive attitude.

For the sake of a better title that is what I will refer to it as.

Today I want to share a scripture on suffering, and perfection, that is only God given after we have suffered. Then we shall be grounded and settled.

I will be adding scriptures at the end, which you may look up in your spare time. All of my life since I was born into this world it has often been so easy for me to talk about my faults. If anyone would come to me and say you are this  or you are that. I would readily say yes I know please pray for me.

Even though at times it was not me, yet I would still say ok pray for me.

I know who I am, and I know my downsittings, and uprisings and because of this God was able to bring me through trials without a lot of crying, and kicking against His will for my life.

Giving into others opinions of us is not a good idea as our view of ourselves may becomes clouded.  Recognizing our own faults and asking Gods forgiveness, is a good idea because he will then forgive, and give us a clear vision of who we are in him.

See how good our God is?

Amazing Love!

Love God’s love covers a multitude of wrong doings.  In these time when that old unregenerate man in us rises from the grave it may be as much a surprise to us as it is to those around us.  It should quickly brings us

to our knees in prayer.

Perhaps we may say Lord; I thought you delivered me from that?

( I like to call these sleeping lions)

Help me Lord I tell Him, I know beyond a shadow of doubt that I’m less than perfect.

God is with us to help us get up and walk on in His Grace and Mercy.

When I fall down, and if you fall down what do we do?

We get up and keep walking again, and again, until we learn to walk more steadily in footsteps.

You may say to me  I know I am a Christian yet often times I find myself saying or doing something altogether different than what I know a Christian should do.

Well honey welcome to the club there is not one person amongst us that has came into perfection and fly’s about like little sanctified fairies never in any way making mistakes of falling short.

If we think we have obtained perfection perhaps we might want to stand back and take a truthful look at who we truly are (a sinner saved by grace.)

I am not saying we should try to fall short or make mistakes.

What I am conveying is that if we do, we have our Savior Jesus our Great High Priest who stands at the right hand side of God ever making intercession for us.

(Pressing on)

Our God is aquainted with all our ways.  He knows everything about us so we might as well save ourselves the pain and ask Him to forgive and help us.

When we fall short sometimes we would like to hide and run away yet we cannot. We have to face who we are and deal with it.

My dear Ones we are still in the process of our growth and development and will be until we die and God clothes us with our new immortal body.

Just as in our human bodies we go through our terrible twos, those horrible teenage years we will have trials, temptations good times, and bad times the things that make it different for us is we have Christ walking through it with us.

The great overcomer of the world, is teaching us to be overcomers.

God never throws us away He continually molds us into His very image.

Praise His name forever more!!

I was going through my files deleting old writings that were started by me, but abandoned and I found this little heart to heart and decided to put it on my site.  I hope you enjoy this writing?

God bless you; and as you learn along with me, to love yourself and speak kindly to you as you are a child of the King Amen!

That is Gods reaction to us His children.

(Trials and Endurance:)

Acts 14: 22 Apostle Paul’s writing!

Establishing and strengthening of the souls and hearts of the disciples, urging. warning, and encouraging them to stand .

Firm in the faith, and telling them it is through many hardships and tribulation we must enter the kingdom of God.

Read all of the first chapter of job.

(My Notes)

When I was reading the first chapter of Job I discovered this little gem.  The part in verse seven, which tells of how satan came into God’s throne room with the other angels.

God asked satan what do you think of my servant Job who is righteous and shuns evil.

Was it job’s friends, or his wife or satan that called job righteous?

No Gods beloved it was God, who made all those lovely statements about His son Job.

From this I have surmised that when we go through trials it is not because were bad or unrighteous but it is rather because we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Often times that is when judgement and condemnation comes in! We accuse ourselves, and often times our friends, and other Christians come forth and accuse us, sometimes it is more us than others who judges us.

Just as Jobs comforters came to be his miserable comforters.

Sometimes others and we accuse us more than the evil one who is and name means accuser.

That is his job and he has a lot of helpers who unknowingly do this job for him.

We know and understand we have not been perfected yet although we do know someone who is patiently teaching us his ways. That is the Holy Spirit Teacher Comforter  Leader into all truths, Helper to the Christian and go between to God.

We are blessed!

Often time we suffer because we give into temptations or words of defeat that come through our minds sent by the evil one.

Help us Lord Please!!!

Beloved children of God; please never give up God is not finished with his beautiful work He has begun in us.

He is faithful to keep that which we have given him.

Even against that day.

Temptation and endurance

There is an old saying that goes like this:  You can't stop the birds from flying over your head, but you don't need to let them nest in your hair.  Temptation are like that you don’t have to let them nest in your life.

God has given you all power, over all the power of the enemy.

A Prayer For You

Father God,

I come before your throne lifting up your children who are struggling in areas of growth and development.

Let us seek your forgiveness, and guidance in our lives help us to hide ourselves in thee.

Keep us human, God keep us real, and honest... help us to reach out to others around us.

Keep us pure; keep us Lord in your very view, as we are Your beloveds.  Not because we deserve it, but because you purchased that right when you died on the cross for us!

We love you Jesus You our very life!  You are our rock of salvation into which we can run and find rest from the storms of life

In Jesus name, A-Men

(Hebrews 4:15)

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.

(James 5:16)

Confess your faults one to another; and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

(First John 1:9)

If we freely admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just and [true to his own nature and promises] will forgive our sins. And continuously cleanse us from all unrighteousness. "
