JESUS IS THE DELIVERER -- BASIC DELIVERANCE is not an exhaustive instruction by any means. We have gleaned from other DELIVERANCE Ministries and have taken parts from each ministry as well as our own DELIVERANCE, experiences, revelations and discernment to compile this writing.

The Bible does not tell us the how to, when, where, etc. JESUS just said, "And these attesting signs shall accompany those who believe; in My Name they will drive OUT demons....". Mark 16:17.

Just as Salvation is an experience and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in TONGUES is an experience, DELIVERANCE (driving OUT demons) is an experience. Every DELIVERANCE Ministry that we have come in contact with does DELIVERANCE different. Some lay hands on; some expect wild manifestations; some people coming for help sit quietly and show no manifestations but their demons leave.

We do not say that any of these are wrong. However, the only real evidence that you have had DELIVERANCE is that your life is different. Those things (demons) that you were controlled, harassed, driven or tormented by are no longer there. If you stole, you will steal no more. If you smoked, you will smoke no more. If you had a drug or alcohol addiction you will not have an addiction any longer. If you are depressed, fearful, sick, you will no longer be depressed, fearful or sick.

THE FIRST STEP: BELIEVING AND KNOWING YOUR AUTHORITY

Mark 16:17 "And these attesting signs will accompany those who BELIEVE: in My Name they will cast OUT demons..."
BELIEVING:

The first step to DELIVERANCE is the actual believing that a Christian can have a demon. Yes, that you, a born again, Spirit-filled, tongue talking, JESUS loving and worshiping Christian can and do have demons. JESUS said that DELIVERANCE was the "children's bread". Matthew 15:26 and Mark 7:27.

If you do not believe that you have demons, and someone tries to cast OUT your demons, then they do not have to leave. That is why you must humble yourself and say, "Well, IF I have any demons, I want them OUT!"

BUT HOW CAN THIS BE???

When you are born again as a Christian, JESUS CHRIST comes to abide in your spirit.
You are a triune being - body, soul and spirit. Your soul is your mind, will and emotions.

First is your body. Do you or a family member have cancer? That's a demon. What about high blood pressure, heart trouble, etc. Those are demons.

Second is your soul. Do you have a bad temper? That's a demon. Is there mental illness in your family background? That is a demon. Do you have trouble serving God? That's a demon. Do you have problems with bad thoughts? That is a demon.

Third is your spirit. The demons have your spirit surrounded and you are having trouble serving the Lord JESUS the way the bible tells you to do.

So here we are, children of God and we are sick in our bodies, sick in our minds, can't seem to serve God the way we want to. Bingo! That's right, demons are causing this trouble. JESUS CHRIST said in John 10:10 that satan has come to kill, steal and destroy, but that He (JESUS) has come to give life and life abundantly. JESUS came to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8.

In Mark Chapter 7 beginning at verse 21 JESUS CHRIST said, "For from within, [that is] out of the hearts of men, come base and wicked thoughts, sexual immorality, stealing, murder, adultery; 22) Coveting (a greedy desire to have more wealth), dangerous and destructive wickedness, deceit; unrestrained (indecent) conduct; an evil eye (envy), slander (evil speaking, malicious misrepresentation, abusiveness), pride (the sin of an uplifted heart against God and man), foolishness (folly, lack of sense, recklessness, thoughtlessness). 23) All these evil [purposes and desires] come from within, and they make the man unclean and render him unhallowed."These are all names of demons.

Knowing that JESUS CHRIST said this, doesn't it make you want to have anything evil that is within you driven out? The only way to do this is by DELIVERANCE.

YOUR AUTHORITY:

In accordance with believing that you have demons, you must know your authority in the Name of JESUS. Luke 10:19 says, "Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you."

He also said in II Corinthians 10:4 "For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds."

In Ephesians 6, He said that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but principalities, powers, etc. He told us to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to withstand in the evil day.

The enemy will try you, to know if you mean business or if you are just playing. So get into the Word of God and know your authority in the Name of JESUS.

Fear is the number one weapon used by satan. But JESUS said that He has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a strong mind. (II Timothy 1:7).

THE SECOND STEP - ASK FOR THE LORD'S PROTECTION

ASK FOR THE LORD'S PROTECTION BEFORE AND AFTER DELIVERANCE.
Example : I cover myself with the blood of Jesus Christ. Father in Jesus Christ name I ask you to send angels to fight the demons until they leave. please cover me with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Don't forget this step. You can also mention at this point any scripture that will mention the blood of Jesus Christ, Satan's or demons defeat. Mention Mark 16 : 17, Isa 54 : 17 No weapon formed against thee will prosper . Revelation 20 : 10 and the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. You could mention how Jesus Christ cast them out of people .

THE THIRD STEP - FORGIVENESS

Matthew 6:12 "And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven (left, remitted, and let go of the debts, and have given up resentment against) our debtors."

Matthew 6:14-15 "For if you forgive people their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses."

The second step is forgiveness. JESUS said in the above scriptures that if we don't forgive the people who have hurt us then we will not be forgiven. That's not anything to play around with. I want to be forgiven and if that person who hurt me is going to keep me from God then I will quickly forgive them.

If you will not forgive the people who have hurt you then you will not get any DELIVERANCE. Demons work on legalities and that is a legal hold that they have to stay in us. That is why the nice lady that you have seen dies with cancer or has arthritis. That bitterness and unforgiveness causes those diseases.

A sample prayer is as follows: Father, in JESUS CHRIST name, I forgive my mother, father, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, grandparents, teachers, friends, bosses, ex-spouses, and anyone else who has hurt me. Amen.
If any name comes to your mind then speak their name. For example, a stepfather, or the preacher or any one from the church or churches you have attended.

If you have trouble forgiving them then you know for sure that a demon is involved. You can say, "Father, in JESUS CHRIST name, my will is to forgive so and so. Amen." You don't have to feel good about forgiving these people, you just have to forgive. The Lord JESUS takes care of the rest.

Matthew 18:32-35 "Then his master called him and said to him, you contemptible and wicked attendant! I forgave and canceled all that [great] debt of yours because you begged me to. And should you not have had pity and mercy on your fellow attendant, as I had pity and mercy on you? And in wrath his master turned him over to the torturers (the jailers), till he should pay all that he owed, so also My heavenly Father will deal with every one of you if you do not freely forgive your brother from your heart his offenses."

There is torment involved with unforgiveness. According to this scripture, God allows these demons to torment us if we do not forgive.

THE NEXT STEP - INIQUITIES OUR INIQUITIES AND OUR ANCESTORS

Leviticus 26:40-42 "But if they confess their own and their fathers' iniquity in their treachery which they committed against Me - and also that because they walked contrary to Me, I also walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies - if then their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they then accept the punishment for their iniquity, Then will I [earnestly] remember My covenant with Jacob, My covenant with Isaac, and My covenant with Abraham, and [earnestly] remember the land."

Exodus 34:7 "Keeping mercy and loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but Who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children, to the third and fourth generation."

The word of God speaks of confessing the iniquities of our ancestors. He says that their iniquities are passed down to the third and fourth generations. That's 160 years. My, my, what were our ancestors doing 160 years ago? I don't have any idea. So to be safe I confess their iniquities as well as my own.

An iniquity is a sin that is committed over and over such as getting drunk time and time again; committing adultery again and again; stealing, lying, taking drugs; until it becomes a habit or the person not being able to control the sinning. The sins of our fathers would be if our great, great grandfather committed adultery or stole something or got drunk, etc. The sins were committed but they were not habitual.

If alcoholism is a problem in your family, then an iniquity is involved. If heart disease, cancer, mental illness, adultery, lawlessness, etc. is a problem in your family line then there is an iniquity there.

Pray the following prayer to break these bondages (legal holds) the enemy has in us:
Father, in JESUS Christ name, I confess, repent and ask your forgiveness on my behalf and on the behalf of my ancestors going back 10 generations for the iniquity of __________________. (Name the iniquity).

As stated above, iniquities are legal holds the demons have to stay in us. If we do not confess these iniquities the demons will not come out.

NEXT STEP BREAK CURSES AND RETURN THEM BACK TO THE SENDER

Exodus 22:18 "You shall not allow a woman to live who practices sorcery."

Leviticus 20:6 "The person who turns to those who have familiar spirits and to wizards, [being unfaithful to Israel's Maker Who is her Husband, and thus] playing the harlot after them, I will set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people [that he may not be included in the atonement made for them]."

Leviticus 20:27 "A man or woman who is a medium and has a familiar spirit or is a wizard shall surely be put to death, be stoned with stones; their blood shall be upon them."

Witchcraft is a very serious offense and is rampant today. If we do not take up our swords and fight the enemies of our Lord we will be destroyed. Anyone who practices or plays around with witchcraft has a curse of death upon them. This also effects us for four generations. If you have had your fortune read then you have a curse of death upon you and your children and your children's children and their children.
Reading horoscopes is witchcraft. Playing with Ouija boards is witchcraft. Water witching is witchcraft. There is so much witchcraft going on today that we must be aware of these things and stay away from them. Witchcraft and the effects of witchcraft is not being taught in the pulpit and the people of God are being destroyed and deceived by them.

Satanists are fasting and praying for the destruction of our families and our relationship with the Lord JESUS. When you do the warfare against the satanists then you must return the curses that they are sending to you.
Ungodly intercessory prayers are witchcraft prayers. That is any prayer that is prayed on your behalf or another persons behalf that is not the will of God.

Any words spoken in anger, hurt, sorrow or bitterness is witchcraft curses being sent to you.

Psychic prayers, thoughts, warfare, these too need to be broken. There was a news program on t.v. that talked about the Russian people and the psychic thoughts that they used on each other. My friend, it is real and deadly. If you do not recognize and use the weapons of our warfare against them, you could be destroyed by them.

All Catholic prayers that are being prayed for and against you need to be broken. Again, do not think that you are protected just because you are a Christian. You have to appropriate the things of God before they work for you. You must cover yourself in the blood of JESUS CHRIST, break and loose yourself and family from the witchcraft curses and return the curses to the satanists. You can do this daily or any time the thought enters your mind to break them.

THE DEMONS THAT ARE POSSESSING YOU MIGHT HAVE BEEN GIVEN LEGAL GROUND BY ANOTHER PERSON . MANY YEARS AGO SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE PUT A SPELL ON YOUR GREAT GRANDMOTHER. TAKE BACK THE LEGAL GROUND DEMONS MIGHT HAVE BECAUSE OF THE FOLLOWING :

TO RETURN ALL WITCHCRAFT AND CURSES, PRAY THIS SEVERAL TIMES DURING THE DAY:
IN JESUS NAME, I CUT AND BURN ALL UNGODLY SILVER CORDS AND LAY LINES. AS YOUR WAR CLUB AND WEAPONS OF WAR, I BREAK DOWN, UNDAM, AND BLOW UP ALL WALLS OF PROTECTION AROUND ALL WITCHES, WARLOCKS, WIZARDS, SATANISTS, SORCERERS, AND THE LIKE, AND I BREAK THE POWER OF ALL CURSES, HEXES, VEXES, SPELLS, CHARMS, FETISHES, PSYCHIC PRAYERS, PSYCHIC THOUGHTS, ALL WITCHCRAFT, SORCERY, MAGIC, VOODOO, ALL MIND CONTROL, JINXES, POTIONS, BEWITCHMENTS, DEATH, DESTRUCTION, SICKNESS, PAIN, TORMENT, PSYCHIC POWER, PSYCHIC WARFARE, PRAYER CHAINS, INCENSE AND CANDLE BURNING, INCANTATIONS, CHANTING, UNGODLY BLESSINGS, HOODOO, CRYSTALS, ROOTWORKS, AND EVERYTHING ELSE BEING SENT MY WAY, OR MY FAMILY MEMBER'S WAY, OR ANY DELIVERANCE MINISTRIES WAY, AND I RETURN IT, AND THE DEMONS TO THE SENDER, ONE HUNDREDFOLD, AND I BIND IT TO THEM BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS.

SAMPLE PRAYER: Father, In JESUS' CHRIST Name, I break and loose myself from all witchcraft curses and demons being sent against me. Jeremiah 51:20. As your war club, I break in pieces the walls of protection that the satanists have put up for their protection and I send all demons and curses back to them sevenfold and bind it to them by the Blood of JESUS CHRIST. I break and loose myself from all psychic prayers, thoughts, warfare, all Catholic prayers being prayed for and against me, all ungodly intercessory prayers, all words spoken in hurt, anger, sorrow or bitterness in JESUS' CHRIST Name.

ALSO READ: Isaiah 54:17; Psalm 140; Deuteronomy 30:7; Psalm 109 for further study. These scriptures can be prayed against our enemies and the enemies of our Lord.

THE NEXT STEP - CURSES

Galatians 3:13 "JESUS Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse [doom] of the law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures}, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified)." [Deuteronomy 21:23].

Curses and iniquities run together. After repenting and confessing the iniquities you are ready to break the curses that these iniquities brought on us.

Most of us were taught that when we got saved the curses were automatically taken care of. Wrong! That's a lie of satan. Everyone can be saved. Correct? However, they are not saved until they appropriate salvation. When we are saved we don't all get well instantly, do we? I know some people do, but that is a miracle and not everyone receives a miracle at that time. But, if they appropriate healing according to the Word of God then they receive their healing. Well, it is the same with the curses. Until you say IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I BREAK THE CURSE OF ______________, the curse is not broken.

For example: Deuteronomy Chapters 27 and 28 are known as the Blessing and the Curses chapters. Go through these chapters and break the curses and loose the blessings into your life.
Now, that you have forgiven everyone that has hurt you and confessed your sins and iniquities and the sins and iniquities of your ancestors the curses can be broken. Say the following: In the Name of JESUS CHRIST, I break the curse of witchcraft.

Some curses that you need to break are witchcraft, the curse of the bastard (KJV-Deuteronomy 23), the curse of idolatry, poverty, sickness, death, etc. Again this is not an exhaustive list. As you learn more about DELIVERANCE the Lord will show you curses that need to be broken over you and your family.

THE NEXT STEP - BIND ALL DEMONS ACCORDING TO FUNCTION

EXAMPLE : A DEMON MIGHT MANIFEST THROUGH DEPRESSION, HEADACHES , BAD DREAMS, FREQUENT URINATING . SAY I BIND THE DEMONS THAT ARE CAUSING DEPRESSION HEADACHES ETC... IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

THE NEXT STEP - CASTING OUT DEMONS ACCORDING TO FUNCTION

EXAMPLE : A DEMON MIGHT MANIFEST THROUGH DEPRESSION, HEADACHES , BAD DREAMS, FREQUENT URINATING . SAY I CAST OUT THE DEMONS THAT ARE CAUSING DEPRESSION , HEADACHES , PAIN, ETC... IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. YOU CAN ALSO MENTION SCRIPTURE ABOUT DEMONS OR THE DEVIL'S DEFEAT.

Mark 9:24 and 25 "But JESUS noticed that a crowd [of people] came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, You dumb and deaf spirit, I charge you to come out of him and never go into him again. And after giving a [hoarse, clamoring, fear-stricken] shriek of anguish and convulsing him terribly, it came out....",

You have now robbed the demons of their legal holds and are ready to drive them out.
Remember, as we stated above that all DELIVERANCE Ministers do DELIVERANCE differently. Some expect wild manifestations, some lay hands on, some will not let the demons manifest at all. We believe that sometimes all of these may happen. But the way you know that you have been DELIVERED is that your life is different. You can destroy all the furniture and still have the demon of destruction when you finish. You may sit there like a knot on a log! And the next day when you stump your toe, you don't cuss. That's DELIVERANCE.

Anyway, some of the ways that we have found that the demons come out is through the breath. The Holy Spirit comes in through the breath and the demons mock Him and go out through the breath. You may yawn, cough, scream, or just sit there. Don't concentrate on the manifestations just concentrate on getting rid of the demons. Your attitude should be one of "wanting the demons out".

The King James version says in Mark 16:17 the word CAST OUT. The word cast out in the Webster's Dictionary means to vomit. So if you vomit that just means that demons are coming out for sure.

Also, there are times that you may need DELIVERANCE for the same problem more than one time. The demons are like onions, you peel a layer and you still have onion, another layer, and still onion, etc. Our opinion is that depending on how rooted some demons are the more times you will need DELIVERANCE on that one family of demons.

We also, recommend that you read Pigs in the Parlor, by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. It is a good basic DELIVERANCE book. If you contact us, we can give you names of other good authors to contact regarding DELIVERANCE material.
We will begin with the family of Rebellion. Anger, temper, hatred, violence, murder, bitterness, and unforgiveness are demons that belong to that family. To cast or drive out these demons say: In the Name of JESUS you demon of rebellion, I command you to loose me and come out of me now, In JESUS Name. Then take a deep breath and blow out. This is called SELF DELIVERANCE.

If you hear the word "NO" in your mind, then the demon is saying NO. Just do it again until you believe that you have gotten rid of it. Sometimes they will try you, to see if you know your authority. Just don't give up. You can wait a few minutes and try again. Then go on to temper, anger, etc.

Pray for discernment from the Lord. You will need this gift to help you in DELIVERANCE. Also, find a body of Believers that agree with DELIVERANCE the way JESUS wants it done.

WARFARE - IMPORTANT PART OF DELIVERANCE

Ephesians 6:10 - 18 "In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) IN THE SPIRIT (TONGUES), with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people)."

II Corinthians 10:3 - 5 "For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds. [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasoning and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)."

If you do not use the weapons that the Lord JESUS has given us you will be defeated. Another lie that satan has caused the Christians to believe is that demons can't hurt us because of JESUS. Again, if we don't appropriate what JESUS has given to us we are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6).

The Blood of JESUS is our number one weapon. Cover (don't plead - that's begging) yourself, family, home and possessions in the Blood of JESUS. The demons really hate it when you do this.

Anoint your home with oil. Genesis 28:18; Exodus 25:6; Exodus 30:25,31. The oil in itself does nothing but it does represent the Holy Spirit. That is why we use it. After anointing your home - doorways, windows, beds, etc. - command all demons to leave in JESUS Name. This is not a one time thing. You may do this as often as you desire.
