Their was once a young soldier called Saul. His heart was filled with hate and violence towards any one who followed Jesus. He went out of his way to gather everyone he could find and take them back to Jerusalem and imprison them.
One day on his way to Damascus a bright light from heaven startled him so much he fell off his horse to the ground. He heard a voice "Saul Saul, why do you persecute me" Saul Said, "Who are you Lord?" The voice said "I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. Rise and enter the city and you will be told what to do".
The men Saul was travelling with were speechless hearing a voice but seeing no one. Saul stood up but found his eyes were open but he could no longer see. The men lead him to Damascus, for three days he fasted but he stayed blind.
In Damascus there was a follower of Jesus named Anani'as and he had a vision, a voice called to Anani'as and he answered "here I am Lord". and the voice told him to go to a street called Straight and find a man called Saul. So Anani'as went and found Saul even though he had heard bad things about this Saul. Anania's laid his hands on Saul and immediately scales fell from Saul's eyes and his sight was restored and he was filled with the Holy Spirit and wonder and was Baptised and then he ate.
From then on Saul preached the work of Jesus and his name changed to Paul. For he was chosen by God to spread the word as his warrior.
