RENEWAL
How refreshing the rain,
little droplets sit
upon the leaves and flowers
like diamonds.
The sound penetrates the
otherwise stillness
of morning.
Birds enjoy the pools
that spring from nowhere
in communal spirit
they bathe.
The afterness of a downpour
leaves an aura
unequal like renewal
from heaven.

In A Flower
Tulips sway in a murmur
Of a breeze
So find, and stately
Orange, yellow, red
A statement of vibrancy,
Like waxen sculptures
Only devised by nature
To God’s glory.
I sit and participate
On a brief canvas of reality
As the sun beams
Its warmth, they open,
Saluting with praise
Their riches
Only devised by nature
To God’s glory.

I Found You.
At last I have found you
While I passed by your way
Now my search is over
How happy is this day.
For I was wandering solo
Which was so full of strife
Now I have a reason
To carrying on with life.
I no longer have to walk alone
For you are their for me
Through all the fearful darkness
I can now so clearly see
That my life was so empty
So full of woes and dross
You saved me a sinner
My Jesus on the cross.

Unseen Guest
Walking, this life you may feel alone
But there is a companion who is God’s Son.
With a light to warm your despairing heart,
His there for you never to depart.
In times of sorrow, when life is grim
And you find it hard to cling to Him,
He never fails to draw you near
Just whisper a prayer that he will hear.
Through your solitary path, your unseen guest
Will lead you to a realm so wonderfully blessed.

To listen to your word
If I could see beyond the cloud
To know all knowledge
If I could eat with you
To feed my hunger
If I could drink with you
To never thirst

To worship in your presence
If I could forget my fears
To speak your name
If I could be a child again
To rest my life in you.
