I Will Not Forget you
I will not forget you
child of mine
for you always abide
even when you are alone.
My hands have you forever
imprinted.
Moulded as only you.

I will not forget you.

I sing to you my little one
As in my arms you lay
You bring a smile upon my face
And brighten up my day
You’re little fingers clasp my thumb
While my arms they gently sway
It is your life I think upon
Which I can but only pray.
Babe! Sweet babe of mine
Oh ! that was yesterday
For now you’ve grown into a man
And gone along your way.
