God at work!
First Pastors School in the Peruvian Jungle
The first "Pastors School" in Iquitos was held on October 5th and 6th, 2006.
There were 174 pastors and leaders of several congregations from the river communities. The speaker was the Dr. Paul Clamp, a South African citizen living in Virginia, USA. A gifted teacher who taught under the anointing and authority of the Holy Spirit.
Dr. Clamp spoke about utilizing Faith as a way to improve the vision and passion to win souls for Christ. He explained how faith, Bible study and worship would draw one closer unto the Lord, motivating pastors to become more successful in their ministry in their own areas.
The two days of the conference were of great performance of the Holy Spirit. The pastors were greatly blessed by receiving the fresh anointing of the Word of God.
Some were weeping, while others were rejoicing in humbleness of heart. Many rededicated their commitment to the Lord and were encouraged to carry out the Great Commission of Mark 16:15.
Dr. Clamp preached in evening as well. The pastors returned to their isolated villages, sailing the long Amazon river, with a great desire to make an impact on their communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We also arranged evangelical meetings in several churches; Bethel Church in Belen, Canaan Baptist Church in Punchana, Emabajada del Cielo Church in San Juan and Villa Selva, and Rio Mar del Pastor Atilio. Dr. Clamp ministered the word of God to all, prayed for the sick and called upon the people to live a victorious life in Jesus Christ.
Dr. Paul Clamp and his wife are considering to return in 2007 and teach again at the second Pastors School in the jungle.
