Verses 2 stand on!

These are some of my favorite verses that I have stood on. I believe that without the strength of Gods word I may never have made it through many trials in my life. I mean I/we need the word everyday. It just seems sometimes we may be going through certain tests and trial, and standing firm on a verse has helped me to keep the faith I needed to make it through! Also, confessing the word of God aloud is a VERY VERY POWERFUL WEAPON! There have been times when that is all I knew to do. I didn't know what to say, or where to turn, and I would just repeat certain verses over and over again! Confessing them without faith is useless though. You MUST have the faith that what you are confessing is true, and that you believe it with all of your heart!

Isaiah 41:10

Fear not (there is nothing to fear), for I am with you, do not look around you in terror and be dismayed. For I am your God, I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes I will help you. I will hold you up and retain you with My victorious right hand of rightness and justice.

Proverbs 3:1-8

MY SON forget not my law or teaching, but let your heart keep My commandments. For length of days or years of a life (worth living) and tranquility (inward and outward and continuing through old age till death) these shall they add you.  Let not mercy  and kindness ( shutting out all hatred and selfishness) and truth (shutting out all deliberate hypocrisy or falsehood) forsake you, bind them about your neck, write them upon the tablet of your heart. So shall you find favor, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight (or judgement) of God and man. Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eye: reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn (entirely) away from evil. Psalm 27 The Lord is my light and my Salvation----whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the refuge and stronghold of my life----of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even my enemies and foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war arise against me (even then) in this I will be confident. One thing I have asked of the Lord, that I will seek, inquire for, and (insistently) require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in Hid temple. For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me, He will set me high upon a rock. And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent will I offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes I will sing praises to the Lord. hear O Lord, when I cry aloud; have mercy and be gracious to me and answer me. You have said seek My face. My heart says to You, Your face Lord will I seek. Hide not Your face from me; turn  not Your servant away in anger, You Who have been my help! cast me not off, neither forsake me O God of my salvation! Although my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet the Lord will take me up (adopt me) Teach me Your way O Lord and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies. Give me not up to the will adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me; they breathe out cruelty and violence. What, what would have become of me had I not believed that I would se the Lord's goodness in the land of the living! Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and EXPECT THE LORD!

2Corinthians 4:16, 17, 18, NIV

We don't give up. Our bodies are becoming weaker and weaker, But Our spirits are becoming renewed day by day. 17 Our troubles are small they last only for a short time. But they are earning for us glory that will last forever. It is greater than all troubles. 18 So we don't spend all of our time  looking at what we can see, instead we look at what we can't see. What can be seen lasts only  a short time. But what we can't see lasts forever........

Psalm 18:1-6 1. NIV  1. I love you Lord, You give me strength. 2. The Lord is my rock and my fort. He is the One who saves me. My God is my rock. I go to Him for safety. He is like a shield to me. Psalm 18:1-6 amplified  1. I love you fervently and devotedly O Lord, my strength. 2. The Lord is my rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God my Keen and Firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation. My High Tower. 3. I call upon the Lord, Who is to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies. 4. The cords or bands of death surrounded me, and the streams of ungodliness and the torrents of ruin terrified me. 5. The cords of Sheol ( the place of the dead ) surrounded me; the snares of death confronted and came upon me. 6. In my distress (when seemingly closed in) I called upon the Lord and cried to my God; He heard my voice out of His temple ( Heavenly Dwelling place), and my cry became before Him into His very ears!

Lamentations 22-25 NIV Bible

The Lord loves us very much. So we haven't been completely destroyed. His loving concern never fails. 23 His great love is new every morning. Lord, how faithful you are! 24. I say to myself, "The Lord is everything I will ever need." "So I will put my hope in Him." 25. The Lord is good to those who put put their hope in Him. He is good to those who look to Him. 26. It is good when people wait quietly for the Lord to save them.

Lamentations 22-25 Amplified Bible

It is because of the Lords mercy and loving kindness that we are not consumed, because His (tender) compassions fail not. 23. They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness. 24. The Lord is my portion or share, says my living being (my inner self); therefore will i hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him, to those who seek Him (inquire of and for Him and require Him by right of necessity and the authority of God's word)!

Lamentations 3:25 says that God is good to those who wait for Him and expect Him to be good to them. We do not deserve His goodness, but it is available to all who expect it, so EXPECT IT!!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS TO ALL, MUCH PEACE BLESSING AND LOVE FOR YOU IN 2009!!!

Lamentations 3:27-28, 31-33 NIV Bible

27 It is good for a man to carry a heavy load of suffering while he is young. 28. Let him sit alone and not say anything the Lord has placed that load on him. 31. The Lord doesn't turn His back on people forever. 32. He might bring suffering But He will also show loving concern. How great His faithful love is! 33. He doesn't want to bring pain or suffering to His people.

27. It is good for a man that he should bear the yoke ( of divine disciplinary dealings) in his youth. 28. Let him sit alone uncomplaining and keeping silent (in h ope) because ( God ) has laid (the yoke) upon him ( for his benefit) For the Lord will not cast off forever! 32. But though He causes grief, yet will He be moved to compassion according to the multitude of His loving kindness and tender mercy. 33. For He does not willingly and from His heart afflict or grieve the children of men.

So, I am very happy to brag about how weak I am. Then Christ's power can rest on me. 10 Because of how I suffered for Christ, I'm glad that I am weak. I am glad in hard times. I am glad when people say mean things about me. I am glad when things are difficult. And I am glad when people make me suffer. For when I am weak, I am strong...

And to keep me from being puffed up and too much elated by the exceeding greatness (preeminence) of these revelations, there was given me a thorn 9 a splinter) in my flesh, a messenger of satan, to rack  and buffet and harass me, to keep me from being excessively exalted. 8 Three times I called upon the Lord and besought and besought ( Him ) about this and begged that it might depart from me; 9 But He said to me,  My grace ( My favor, loving kindness and mercy) is enough for you (sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully(; For my strength and power are made perfect ( fulfilled and completed ) and show themselves most effective in ( your ) weakness and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah ) may rest(yes may pitch a tent over and dwell)  upon me! 10 So, for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, insults, persecutions, perplexities, and distress: for when I am weak (in human strenght) then I am (truly) strong (able, powerful in divine strength) Amen!!!

Psalm 6:4,9 NIV Bible

Notice how I put the desperate plea for help in this psalm the day before, and then for the next day I added the outcome.......David knew the Lord heard him and would answer his desperate plea for help. Have Faith, Hope, and Believe; The Lord does hear and the Lord WILL SAVE YOU.

Psalm 6:2,3,6, NIV Bible

6:2 Lord have mercy on me, I am so weak, Lord heal me, my body is full of pain. 6:3 My soul is very troubled, Lord how long until You save me? 6:6 My groaning has warn me out. All night long my tears flood my bed. My bed is wet because of my crying.

Todays Verse For December 25, 2008 and Merry Christmas to all who are reading this, and thank you Lord for giving us this day to celebrate! Christmas is about Sacrifice, Love, and the Freedom that Christ died for all of us to have! The sinful nature does not want what the spirit delights in. And the spirit does not want what the sinful nature delights in. The two are at war with each other. That's what makes you do what you don't want to do.
