Life Program Coming Soon More Info Coming Soon The 25th Anniversary of the East Texas Gospel Singers was held at Onalaska First Baptist Church. There were 28 churches and around 206 people that showed up. We had several Choirs sing last night including the Onalaska Baptist, Onalaska Methodist, Point Blank Baptist Adult Choirs and the Onalaska Baptist and New Hope Baptist Youth Choirs sing. It was a wonderful time of singing praises to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Carl Sims was susprised by a presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation from the East Texas Gospel Singers for his hard work in this group. 14 Sept 2006 the East Texas Gospel Singers will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Thursday night singings there will be Choir singing, Individual singing and congregational singing. We will be have food and fellowship afterwards. We will be at Onalaska First Baptist Church in Onalaska Texas the singing will begin at 7PM. We had a great time at the Hee Haw, if you miss it you missed a real time of fun and fellowship. See yall next year. Onalaska First Baptist Church present the Hee Haw Variety Show Saterday Sept 9 2006. The music begins at 6:30PM and the program at 7:00 PM at the Onalaska Elementary School. For more information call the church at 936-594-3378 or Shirley at 936-594-6528 tickets are $5.00 in advance or $6.00 at the door, come join us for music and fun August 19 2006 the Texas Leadership Conference will be held at First Baptist/Lufkin sign up sheet across the hall from the office. $10 if we register before the 5 of August, $15 after that. Lunch is included. Once again our food closet is getting real low on food items. Since the first of the year we have given food to 52 families in this area. Will you help by donating canned food. August 6 2006 is promtion time at Onalaska FBC. Sign up by Wenesday meet at the church Saterday at 9:30 we are leaving at 10:00 AM. 21 Youth and 6 Adults all had a great time thanks to Dan and Kay!!!
