Hello everyone,
It has been so long since I have written. I sure have been subbing a lot. When I sub at Robinson, I listen to the Perrys. They have a new CD out currently with the title, "Almost Morning". There are several songs on this project that are fantastic. For those of you that know me, you know that I love FAST songs and the faster, the better. Phyllis and I make a good team when it comes to fast music. You will be suprised to know that my favorite song on the CD is a slow one. The song is entitled, "If you Knew Him". This song has quite a message. In fact this song is the number 1 song for December. The words in the chorus goes like this:
"If you knew him, like I know him. If you knew that he's alive. If you felt him, like I feel him. Resurection, deep inside. You'd know he's living and death has died."
The words to the verse go something like this:
If you're wandering in the darkness, come and step into the light. The nail scarred hands reached out to help you. To pull you safe from death to life. Friend I too have stood where you stand. Do you trust in things unseen. Just one step in his direction, then in love HE RAN TO ME.
Take some time this month and think about these words. We have so much to be thankful for. Jesus is ALIVE and HE defeated death for us because He loves us SO much. So let's begin counting our blessings and while you are counting those blessings, thank God for them as well.
