About the Founder

Glyniel Garner, PCC, BCBC, CMM is the founder of New Horizon Coaching Associates. As an Architectural Life and Design Certified Coach, she is a product of overcoming her own life challenges, changes, and struggles that you and many others are going through. She is Board Certified Biblical Counselor and a Certified Marriage Mentor under the AACC. She has an understanding, being conscious and aware of, being sensitive to your situation, and having dealt with the same thoughts, feelings, and experiences that you may have faced in the past or that you are facing today. The Architectural Concept of this Life Design Coach is that she provides the knowledge, art and technique in designing the preferred style of life and living that fulfills the expected outcome of all clients. As a Professional Life Coach  emulating that of an architect, she is equipped with passionate interpersonal skills, psychological understanding as well as ethical awareness, dedicated and qualified to design a blend of diverse requirements and disciplines in a creative process with artistic imagination and creative vision strictly based on the needs of each indivual client. She is a devoted Christian purposed to help you improve your performance and enhance your quailty of life as you find yourself in a powerful method for self-change: the power of human relationship.

Trained and graduated from Erickson College International, Vancouver, BC, in Solution-Focused Coaching (SFC) a future oriented, strength based model of communication that holds several key presuppositions from NLP into the framework of coaching with a strong future orientation. Rather than focusing on what hasn't worked in the past, or what is "broken", SFC holds the following tenants: There is no such thing as failure, only feedback; People always make the best choice available to them at the time; People work perfectly; The meaning of communication is the response you get; Choice is better than no choice; People already have all the resources they need, and that symptoms - aches, pains, anxiety, depression, etc. are communication for needed action. Disciplined in the art of active listening and poised to observe and to customize an approach to your individual needs, I will provide you with a lifetime of insight without the pain of having to acquire it on your own. I seek to elicit solutions and strategies from you for I believe you are naturally creative and resourceful. My job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that you already have within you.

As a mentor, I share knowledge and experience that may be hard for you to grasp on your own. I have a servant's heart along with a desire and a passion to help you to overcome hardships and setbacks. Equipped with a number of high intensity characteristics, I am intuitive, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, compassion, humility, discernment, confidentiality, and trustworthiness with the confidence of knowing that I will ask you the hard questions that will inspire you to search within your heart and soul to make the appropiate life changing decisions. I am fully committed to your success.

In the process, I will begin by offering you a free coaching session assessing what you can expect to accomplish through coaching, the challenges you are facing, the stumbling blocks that hinder you from moving forward and what your vision is for your life. I will work with you to explore your possibilites, help you to overcome fears and setbacks, and stretch your present situation towards attracting the exact results you want.
