Our Beliefs / To Be Redeemed
1)We Believe there is one God who reveals Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, simultaneously. A triune God.
2)We believe God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. That is, all-powerful, all-knowing, and everywhere at the same time, all the time.
3)We believe God created heaven, the earth, the entire universe, and all life.
4)We believe in everlasting life and everlasting torment. Heaven and Hell.
5)We believe the only way to everlasting life is through the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whose sacrificial death atoned for the sins of mankind. And was buried and then resurrected by the Holy Father and now sits at the right hand of Father God and acts as mediator between mankind and the Holy Father.
6)We believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant, divinely inspired word of God. Recorded for the edification of mankind. To give us hope, understanding, and respect for our Creator.
7)We believe in the future coming of our LORD, Saviour, Judge, and Friend, Jesus Christ to rapture His faithful born-again believers up into heaven with Him.
To Be Redeemed
How does one become a child of God and not a child of God's wrath? It is a matter of the heart. Romans 10: 9,10 says; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:36 says; He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
So you see you first must believe in your heart that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah or Anointed One), the Son of God. You must believe that Jesus and God are One. I and my Father are one, John 10:30 says. The same Spirit that God is; is the same Spirit that Jesus is. God in His all incomprehensible power wrapped Himself in human flesh and walked this earth as Jesus Christ while still sitting on His throne in heaven!! Amazing yet true! You must beleive that Christ died for your sins. What sins, you may be asking yourself? Well God is pure and righteous and knows no sin. His standard of righteousness is given to us in the Ten Commandments. Which are:
1) Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
3) Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
4) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
5) Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
6) Thou shalt not kill.
7) Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8) Thou shalt not steal.
9) Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10) Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's.
(LORD Jesus' summary of God's commandments)
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Have you failed at any of these commandments? Sure you have. We all have! Romans 3:23 says; For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. That is why Christ came! So that you and I can be redeemed. So that the right relationship between God and His creation can be restored.
When God created Adam and Eve, all creation was perfect. There was no sin. No disobedience. But because it takes free will to achieve and demonstrate true love (And God requires His creation to love Him), Adam and his wife had free will to choose to obey God or to disobey God.
Unfortunately for us, Adam's offsprings, he chose to disobey God, therefore bringing sin into God's perfect creation. We inherited sin from Adam and are corrupted from birth. Therefore if you, somehow, believe that you have not broken any of the Ten Commandments, you are still guilty because everyone has inherited Adam's sin.
So because God is pure and holy and sinless, sin must be punished. Sin must be eradicated before any one of us can enter into heaven. Romans 6:23 says; For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
So please understand that anyone who will not repent from sin must die (i.e. eternal separation from God in the lake of fire) because sin cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. Therefore God through His loving grace poured His wrath He had stored up for sinful mankind upon His only Son Jesus Christ. Hence, Christ died for our sins. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says; For He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. And John 3:16 makes it clear; For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Believing in who Jesus (truly) is and what He did and by trusting in Him and by repenting from sin does one become a child of God and receives everlasting life. Jesus's blood shed that day on the cross washes away our sins if we believe. And the true believer will hate his or her own sins and his or her own propensity to sin and make an active effort to turn away and resist the natural tendency to sin. This is true repentance. This is true rebirth, better known as being born again. Seek you first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, will you? Seek Jesus Christ and believe and you will be saved.
God speed and God bless,
