To all who wish to visit Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Monastery: I say go for it ! I was there in May of 2000 and my stay was both pleasant and exciting. Unfortunantly my visit was cut short due to untreated illness, but I'd return there in a heartbeat had I the funds and free time.
Fr. De Porres has many interesting stories that will enchant and uplift the spirit as well as the imagination !
Also, check out his books "Behold the Man", an excellant read ! If I were a script writer and had the connections, I'd make it into a movie. But who would play the role of Simon of Cyrene...hhmmmm....well, Vince Vaughn is Catholic, so he may do well, but I'm getting off the subject.

In short, visit the monastery, you certainly will not find yourself bored or disappointed !

Hi!
Can you help me? I need to know a few things to get back on track with the things I once learned as a child. I need to know:

Define Sacrament
What it celebrates
Signs and symbols used
What it means to me
And maybe some pictures, please.

Reconciliation
Annoynting of the sick
Matrimony
Holy orders

Can you help me with these just for my personal notes please? I would really appreciate it.
