Since August 5, 2000 Abbot-Archbishop +Martin had been a member of the Holy Orthodox Catholic Patriarchate of America, under the Metropolitan-Primate +Michael and a member of the Standing Episcopal Conference of Orthodox Bishops founded in 1951.

On May 9, 2003 a merger took place in God's Holy Orthodox Church. Since that date, till June 2004, Abbot-Archbishop +Martin has been a member of the ORTHODOX CHURCH OF CANADA, Ukrainian Autocephalous Mission Archeparchy, under the Primacy of His Beatitude Metropolitan +YAROSLAW (Sereda), Archbishop-Primate. The Church in the USA is no longer dependent on the Canadian Church or OCC. The first All-American SOBOR of Bishops and Clergy was held on August 21, 22 at the Monastery in Coleman, Michigan. The official title of the Church Jurisdiction was then ORTHODOX CHURCH of AMERICA which incompasses +The Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church+, +The American Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church, Archdiocese of North America.

At the SOBOR of Bishops and Clergy, Abbot +MARTIN was officially raised to the office of Metropolitan-Archbishop by the Synod of Bishops.

In April of 2005, final approvals were given from the Mother Church in Kiev, Ukraine, and we were blessed to be home within the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church - Canonical. With the fall of Communism, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is free to breath fresh air again. Because of Communism, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church broke into several seperate Jurisdictions but now we work to mend this part of the garment of Christ.

BRIEF STATEMENT OF FAITH AND DISCIPLINE Monastery

Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Monastery, is a monastic foundation of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. The heritage of this Orthodox Catholic Monastery is rooted in the Faith and Tradition of the oldest Christian Church on earth, founded by the Holy Apostles and handed down by the means of Apostolic Succession through the Holy Catholic Church, both east and west.

The Monastics of this Monastery are dedicated to the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Very Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ through Perpetual Adoration. Our Prayer is that the whole Catholic Church will once more be united though each branch autocephalous self-governing as in the first thousand years of Christian history. We believe that in following Jesus Christ, we can respond to His prayer, "That all may be one..." and that Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Byzantine and other true believing members of the whole Catholic Church can live, worship, work, and become the extension of Christ working in the world today as Monks and Nuns. Each remaining faithful to the Rite of Jurisdiction they belong.

We adhere to the decrees of the First Seven Oecumenical Councils and all that they entail. That the faith and doctrine of the Church are infallibly true, and are derived from or witnessed by the Holy Scripture and Holy Tradition as sources and witnesses of equal authority and weight, and are formulated, accepted, and determined by the infallibility inspired, directed, and governed life and consciousness of the Church.

That the Creeds of both the Holy Apostles and the Nicene Creed, as ratified by the Council of Constantinople, are the basic formulation of the Faith.

THE CREED OF THE HOLY APOSTLES

1. I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven
and earth.
2. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
3. Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin
Mary,
4. Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and
was buried.
5. He descended into hell.
6. The third day He arose again from the dead.
7. He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand
of God the Father Almighty.
8. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the
dead.
9. I believe in the Holy Spirit.
10. The Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints.
11. The forgiveness of sins.
12. The resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.

NICENE CREED

1. I believe in one God, Father almighty, Maker of heaven
and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
2. And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of
God, begotten from the Father before all ages, Light
from Light, true God from true God, begotten not made,
consubstantial with the Father, through him all things
were made.
3. For our sake and for our salvation he came down from
heaven, and was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the
Virgin Mary and became man.
4. He was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and
suffered and was buried;
5. He rose again on the third day, in accordance with the
Scriptures, and ascended into heaven and is seated at
the right hand of the Father.
6. He is coming again in glory to judge the living and the
dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
7. And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, who
proceeds from the Father, who together with Father and
Son is worshipped and together glorified;
8. Who spoke through the Prophets.
9. In one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
10. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
11. I await the resurrection of the dead and the life of
the age to come. Amen.

That there are Seven Sacraments, which are canonical, as a means of Divine Grace, necessary and instituted by Christ and further, handed down and taught by the Holy Apostles for the salvation of Christians. These Sacraments are certain through the Apostolic Succession within the authority of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of both East and West. These Sacraments are:
[1] Baptism,
[2] Chrismation or Confirmation,
[3] Eucharist,
[4] Pennance or Reconciliation,
[5] Holy Orders (Deacon, Priest, Bishop)
[6] Marriage,
[7] Unction.

Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Monastery is, by her very nature, faith and profession associated with all ORTHODOX CATHOLICS of EAST and WEST.

Our strongest and common vein that binds us all together is first, Our Eucharistic Lord. Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament is the same, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity adored and glorified no matter if from within the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, or any True Believing Apostolic Church safeguarding the Holy Faith as comes to us from the Apostles.

Both the Roman Catholic Church and Eastern Orthodox Church as do the others recognize in truth that each holds validity of sacraments and orders especially through Apostolic Succession.

Yet mans pride and prejudice continues to separate the very Body of Christ. It is His Body and Blood that must unite us. It is this same Body and Blood that draws members of the many Rites together to follow Christ in total abandonment.
