The Southern Section of the CESA region met for a week of training and spiritual renewal the end of March.  Thank you for your CP gifts that allow this time for missionaries to be renewed.

Lakeview Church, Auburn sent Pastor Al Jackson to teach a class on mentoring.  He was also able to be a part of the service where we were given our pins for 5 years IMB service.

Bali and Siphokazi

We are very sad to tell you that Promise died this month.  We took her to hospital, which was full, so we had her admitted into Genesis.  She had a severe case of Meningitis TB on top of the HIV/Aids.  Please pray for God to work out where the girls will go.  They are not available for adoption but only the babies father/family has shown interest (Promise has no family left except single guys) and we do not like that since he did not provide for Promise and the baby before she died.  We have requested a meeting with all parties involved.  Pray God will direct.

Zulu/Xhosa kid camp

We had a good group for our annual Zulu/Xhosa kid camp.  The group was smaller due to holiday but this way we were able to get to know the kids.  Seven of these precious children/youth gave their hearts to Jesus as Lord and Saviour.  The other blessing was the leaders were our guys from Genesis.  They did an outstanding job.  It is so exciting to see how they are growing in Christ.

Pastor Trevor, Cala, Debbie at Easter Baptism

What a blessing to be a part of Debbie being baptized in the Indian Ocean at the Sunrise Service.  Many of you have heard her story of abuse at the hands of “government” and from part’s of her family.  Debbie say’s; “I have asked Jesus into my heart and I have finally been able to forgive all the bad things done to me.”  That forgiveness comes only from Jesus. PTL!

Cala, Samuel, Sarah Beth, Steve

It was a long drive but we really enjoyed a time of family vacation.  (thank you “one way” for your part in our vacation)
